Keep your small boat centered during the loading process, despite wind and waves, with these bunk-board-style guide-ons. Corrosion-resistant guides are covered with marine-grade carpet and fit trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall.
Features:
Specs:
Adjustable boat guides can be fine-tuned to work with your boat and your trailer. The pre-galvanized steel support posts mount horizontally on top of or below your trailer's frame rail. Just slide the posts into the boat guide supports and secure the posts so that the distance between the bunks correctly matches the width of your boat. The bunk boards then tilt to conform to the boat's hull. Guides will help to center your boat during loading and to hold the boat during transport.
Pre-Galvanized Steel
Pre-galvanized steel parts are stamped from a sheet of steel after it has already been galvanized. The edges of the pre-galvanized parts often lose their zinc coating during the stamping process. Because of the thinness of the coating less than 1 mil and the fact that the edges remain exposed, pre-galvanized parts can begin to oxidize and rust quickly, so its recommended that they be primed and painted.

Video of CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers - 60" Long - 1 Pair
Videos are provided as a guide only. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information.
Today we'll be looking at the C.E. Smith 60 inch long bunk-style guide-ons for boat trailers. Part number CE27600. The CE Smith bunk-style guide-ons are the right on solution for loading your boat. For demonstration purposes, we have this set pulled slightly further out than our rear ones. Let's go over some features.
They're going to support your boat and keep it centered while loading. They tilt to accommodate hulls of various sizes. The uprights simply clamp onto your boat's trailer frame with no drilling required. The brackets also allow you to adjust your uprights' depth so you can accommodate a variety of boat sizes. The uprights themselves are made out of a pre-galvanized sturdy steel construction, so they're going to resist rust and corrosion. The bunk boards are covered in a marine-grade carpet to help protect our boat's finish.
All the hard ware you need to get these installed is included. Now let me go over 00:00:51 some features to go ahead and show you how to get it installed. As you can see, our boat already has rear guide-ons already installed. We're going to be installing some on the front, so let's go ahead and get started. Now the first step to getting our guide-ons installed, is we'll need to install the the U-bolts and the brackets here and at the back there. With our two-inch frame here, our U-bolts are going to go in an X fashion, like this.
If we had a three-inch frame then we would just go like this. We're going to set them in place, like so and we'll take our bracket, it's going to go in this position, with the two long ones facing toward the boat. We're going to line up the holes, then after we have that in position we can install our hardware. We'll be putting on a flat washer, followed by a lock nut. Now keep in mind everything we do here, we're going to do on the other side of the trailer. Now, with our front one loosely installed, let's go ahead and do the back one the exact same way.
Now we can grab two upright posts and insert them in the brackets. We're going to insert the short end, that's going to be the end without the holes, set them in like so. We're not going to fully tighten them down just yet. We're going to make sure that we have the correct distance between the two. Now, a good way to determine your desired length is you can grab your bunk board, bring it up to your uprights and put it in position. Obviously you don't want to exceed the length of the 60 inches and you want a little bit of overhang. I'd say that looks pretty good. You just want to make sure you have an even amount of overhang. We're going for about four inches on each side. Since we're good to go on the length between the two uprights, the next thing we need to make sure is we have the same depth on both sides. We're going to go right here before the elbow and tighten it down. It's going to be a 9/16ths socket wrench. You want to make sure and tighten these down evenly, that way it's got a nice snug fit. Now, with that one in place, let's go ahead and do the rear one. Now we'll just go right before the elbow, just as we did before, and tighten that down. Next, we can loosely install the swivel brackets on our upright post. This is going to help us line up our bunk boards. Now we've got two holes that we can mount our swivel bracket to. You just want to choose whatever works best for your application. We're going to go with the bottom one on both. I'm going to put it there, take my bolt, pass it through the other side, putting it through the hole, put on a flat washer and then a lock nut. Now, as I said before, we'll just loosely install it. I'll get my other one. Now we can grab our bunk board and mark up our brackets. Now, it's not a bad to get an extra set of hands when lining this up. That way the bunk board doesn't move on you. Now, we don't need to worry about marking out our holes because we're just going to remove the swivel brackets to install them on the bunk board. I'm just going to mark the inside edge here, just so I know where to line it up with the bunk board. I'm going to do that for each side. Now, with our swivel brackets removed, we can line them up on our bunk board where we had them positioned, and then drill out some pilot holes. The instructions doesn't say to drill out a pilot hole, but it's going to be way easier to get the wood screw in if we start a pilot hole. We're just going to use our swivel bracket as a template and drill our a pilot hole. Now, with our holes drilled out, we can attach our wood screws. Now we can reinstall our swivel brackets with our bunk boards attached. Now, before we tighten down our swivels, we'll want to adjust the angle of our bunk board to match the angle of our boat. I'd say that looks pretty good right there. Let's tighten them down. All right. I'd say we've got it. Lastly, we can install the caps to our uprights. They just easily push into place. That's going to complete our look at the C.E. Smith 60-inch bunk-style guide-ons. Part number CE27600.

Keep your small boat centered during the loading process, despite wind and waves, with these bunk-board-style guide-ons. Corrosion-resistant guides are covered with marine-grade carpet and fit trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall.I bought a 2007 16' Carolina Skiff for $3500 back in December. The dealer said there was nothing at all wrong with it and he went over it and winterized it. I finally got around to putting it in the water and saw that the bunk boards were in terrible shape, with one side rail guide-on falling off. I took it to a marina repair shop and was told it would be cheaper to buy a new trailer instead of replacing the bunk boards. I contacted Ashley at etrailer about buying a set of bunk boards and all of the brackets and hardware for it. $370.00 later I had a full set of bunk boards and guide-ons being shipped to me. I don't think I could find a new trailer for that price. It took longer to remove the old ones than it did to put the new ones on. About 3 hrs later I had a new trailer. These bunk boards and guide-ons fit my boat and trailer perfectly. Thank you Ashley and etrailer for great customer service and a very good product at a really decent price. 671941
The quality of the product looks good, but it is a standard trailer boat guide. It did not fit our trailer or boat. 692228
I am extremely pleased in how much easier it now is to trailer my boat after adding these to my trailer. 635749
Make retrieving boat so much easier. Now back the trailer in deeper and boat is centered perfectly. Way less cranking on the winch, but feet get wet cause trailer is back farther. I rather take shoes off or switch to boots than crank on the winch.Speeds up load time at ramp. Only down side is I had to buy longer u bolts because my trailer sides were higher than the stock bolts could accommodate. Cost me more money, cause they ain't cheap and I'm suck with 8 u bolts that I have no use for. They should allow you specify the bolt size you need based on trailer frame height. 696896
Excellent on time service less than a week to get to my place Will put product this week and hoping I’ve selected correct one So far real good experience with trailer 556181
Product was an exact replacement for the one i have. This would be better for me if it was hot dipped galvanized or even better a stainless steel option. I sprayed these with spray zinc but that is not as good as hot dipped. the installation hardware was easy to use. The installation video was a good help. I'm very satisfied with the product. 675361
These were easy to install and have worked great. It has made it much easier to get the boat centered on the trailer on the first attempt. 516248
After a year these are still working great. They are much more durable than the OEM bunks. I have ordered and installed a number of products from etrailer. I have always been very satisfied with the products and the support.
Installed on the boat trailer for my 14 ft Polarkraft MV Jon boat now I can load and unload the boat with out having to wade into the water. . I do not know low long it will last in saltwater, it was pregalvanized and not fully galvanized, only time will tell . Only negative was no instructions on how far to place out guide bunks, but figured it out, 1 in on bow and 2 to 3 inches from stern of . boat can now power boat on trailer , and walk out on bow and not get feet wet. helps in loading in winds here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Excellent service from Customer Rep . 181456
with salt water use I am replacing my set that I installed almost 5 yrs ago as the rust rot out at the vertical bend where there is a indent, prior to that the bolts that hold the bunks in suffered from wood rot
-- comment by: D. R - 04/20/2015I am impressed with the speed of shipment and delivery but have yet to apply to my boat trailer. Am looking forward to fixing the problem I've had with getting my boat centered on the trailer at the launch. Suggestion: sell just the brackets and save me the cost of the two-by-fours and carpet. I can do that myself at home. 347627
Still on there trailer and functioning as designed.
Quick shipping, great quality. I ended up using it as a step/board to walk on while docking: loading the boat without getting my feet wet! I’ve been using it for about a year now with no problems. 688628
Ok, so my EZ Loader trailer is not so EZ to load my 15' Smokercraft. I needed something, anything to help remedy the problem. The local boat shop suggested these instead of OEM Trailer Guides. So it took about 2 hours to put together and I have suggestions for anyone who is about to install these. 1. Go get a socket that will accommodate long bolts. A socket wrench is not going to cut it and you will scrape your knuckles trying to make it work. I used a spark plug socket and attached it to my drill. This absolutely cut my time in half! 2. If you have an EZ Loader trailer that is used for smaller boats (like mine), you will have no choice but to attach the brackets under the trailer. I wanted to attach it on top, but the only way to do so is to cut 6 inches off the horizontal portion of the steel "L" bracket. The reason is because the bunk board is in the way and you will only have 5 inches to work with. So keep that in mind. I just hope the height of the boards are tall enough when the trailer is in the water. 3. Call a buddy to help out! It makes life a lot easier. All and all, this wasn't that difficult to assemble. Again, I haven't put the boat in the water yet, but I am confident this will solve my problem of loading. 160986
Easy install and looks like the will last a long time. Hoping this will solve our loading boat on trailer issues on windy days. 551462
Fast shipping, heavy duty constuction, easy to install! 279213
My Son recommended etrailer, stating the products + shipping resulted in a "No Brainer return". Well, I will confirm this statement. This was exactly what I needed for my jetboat. I ordered Sunday, and received it Friday, week of Thanksgiving. Super fast. I now have a new establishment where I will be coming back for trailer needs. This particular product, good construction, and easy install with all the applicable hardware included. I shopped around, and for the price + package, this was the best deal. Thanks etrailer....... 454681
GM George. The year-after follow up on the bunk style guides. They have been the best thing I have bought for my boat trailer in years. Im 82 years old, and Im launching and reloading a jetboat by myself. They have made this such an easy task. They are good quality, were easy to install. I would purchase this product again in the future if the need arises again.
The very first thing I really liked about this product was seeing the " made in the USA" printed on the front of the box. the Boat / Trailer comb. I have , had to be backed a good ways into the water, to launch the boat, same thing of course , to reload the boat, these "guide ons" really made loading the boat a breeze, especially with a crosswind. the only negative thing about the whole installation / kit was, I had to use additional washers to complete the installation, otherwise, great kit , no pictures due to not wanting to uncover boat in the almost constant rain here. I would recommend this kit to a frend. 388950
still working great.
Very happy with fitment and the speed of which I could install it. It took about an hour and 15 minutes. The side boards are in fact wood, and I recommend drilling pilot holes for the wood screws. Now for the negatives... Torque specs or the u-volts would have been appreciated for those of us that care. But most important would be the pivoting bunk mount. As seen in the photos, they are sheared off square. Rounded edges would be more appropriate as most kids around a boat are wearing clothing with little cut resistance. Someone sliding off the boat or getting their knee on it while getting in could really ruin an outing. I would have rounded them off myself, but I didn’t want to lose the galvinized finish. 540653
Is product went together smoothly. My son Bryce and I had no problems from start to finish. 302325
Very simple to assemble, and very prompt delivery. We are very satisfied with your boat trailer guides and have referred your company to our friends. Thank you. 571347
Have not used the trailer since installing the bumks but they look nice and appear as if they will work well. Easy to install. 439973
The bunks are working out just fine. The boat was difficult to get centered on trailer prior to installing the bunk guides now loading the boat is a breeze.
The bunk style guide ons were perfect for my needs. Installation was a snap and they look really good. I followed their recommendation and painted them (black) before installing. I used a couple of clamps to hold the boards in place so I was able to easily complete the project by myself. That also allowed me to drill the pilot holes without taking them back off. Much quicker and very easy. 724791
Very happy with this product. On loading of boat to trailer is much easier, especially with cross wind or current. I mounted these guides just touching each side of the boat. They work perfectly placing the boat precisely in the center of the trailer every time. No lifting or adjusting of the boat that is not sitting properly on rollers or bunks. SDM 718979
Arrived at my doorstep ahead of schedule and in great shape Thanks time to go fishing again 694413
They work fine. Only thing is I thought they were galvanized, but they were not. Other than that, it’s okay. 681277
Excellent. Easy to assemble. Good servi ce 677329
Easy to install and great price. Looks great 670647
Got one side installed. Pretty good fit. Pretty good quality. 664887
Works for me. All good, very pleased with quality and speed of shipping. Will buy another set for my son in law. 654036
exactly what I ordered it was fast shipment I received it today and I put it on the trailer today and it looks great can't wait to try it in the water 644182
All parts there and very good easy directions! Thank you 637775
very happy with purchase, bought for my husband for Christmas, he just put it together and put the rails on the boat trailer. thank you 612643
Very pleased. 604515
Excellent service and excellent product. 600250
E trailer is a great company to do business with. The CE guide really needs some modification though. This is the second time I’ve used this product. First on a Jon boat, now on a Gheenoe. The guides will not slide on to cradle narrow boats without some serious modifications. 594244
Haven't actually tried the bunks and guide boards I bought because it is winter here now but the service and selection were awesome. They had everything I was looking for in one place and the delivery was right on time. The instruction videos and pictures were very helpful. Highly recommend etrailer for all your trailering needs and more. 589400
There are times when saying nothing is the best thanks for your fast delivery 579750
Everything fit like I hoped it would. Went together great. They work very well to guide on and keep boat lined up. Would tell others about them. Thank you. Sorry I don't have pictures right now. 575333
Good fit on my trailer, a LoadRite Elite . Easy to install and very sturdy. I expect it to work out very well. Shipping was super quick . EXCELLENT IN ALL REGARDS. 573801
All the parts fit and design allowed adjustability on the bunkers to match side slope of boat. 572864
work great / make the boat load a lot easier 572115
works fine... now I need to fish.. :-) 567807
I’ve used these on my ‘85 Boston Whaler Montauk trailer. Perfect replacement. I priced these at my marine/trailer parts store. $190. vs $134. Free fast shipping. I’m happy and would recommend. 560010
Perfect solution to convert my trailer for my 14' aluminum boat to a drive on self loader. Easy installment and it can be done by one person and a couple clamps. I would recommend this to anyone who has a trailer without side rails. 555430
Perfectly as designed
very good buy for the money , I have put them on my trailer but I have not had a chance to try them out . They are pretty heavy , a little hard to adjust but I would recommend them . 544232
Instruction are very poor. Looked at pictures on how to put it on. Suggest that you put better detail pictures to make instruction better. product is excellent. 543082
I have a 20 ft. Bayliner Trophy on an Escort trailer. The clamps that hold the uprights to the trailer frame are very strong. The uprights are a little short on the frame end and because of that I only have about 1.5 inches of contact on the 3" frame. It would have been nice to have full contact. Now my boat is about 1.5" off center and I have no adjustment on the uprights. I will use it like this for a while as it is fishing /boating season and I do not have the time to do what I really want, which is to get 4 pcs. of 3" X 4" frame material, weld half inch flat bar as a spacer on each end of the 3 X 4 material then weld that assembly to the outside of the frame which would allow adjustment in any way you would need it. It would be good if they would sell you a product that is a little longer, four inches for each piece would be good. Other than the uprights being short on one end it is a good product. Before you buy one of these guide on kits, measure the distance from the inside of the frame to the outside of your boat. 542002
I can always count on etrailer to deliver great products quickly to my door. These bunk style guide-ons are well made and very easy to install. 540579
After a year in freshwater my 16 Lowe loads great. I removed a shorter, factory installed guide and now can go fishing by myself. I can drive on the trailer even with a strong current. Well made, easy to install and well worth the cost! Ive dealt with etrailer for several years and have never had anything but exceptional service.
Very good 527213
The guides are probably better than what would have come with the trailer. Mounting U bolts hold perfectly, even with a rough boat loading. The guides haven't moved. Glad I bought them. 526151
Still great and look as good as new. A good purchase.
Install was easy. Have not tried launching and loading yet. 523939
Great, Very well made and super fast shipping too!!!! 523752
