Keep your small boat centered during the loading process, despite wind and waves, with these bunk-board-style guide-ons. Corrosion-resistant guides are covered with marine-grade carpet and fit trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall.

Features:

  • Bunk-style guides support your boat and keep it centered while you're loading it onto your trailer
    • Tilt to accommodate hulls of various sizes
  • Support posts clamp onto top or bottom of trailer frame
    • Mounting brackets allow you to adjust the distance between posts
    • Pre-galvanized steel construction is sturdy and resists corrosion
    • Hardware included
  • Marine-grade carpeting lines bunk boards to protect your boat's finish
  • Black color carpeting
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Quantity: 2 bunk-style boat guides
  • Application: trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall
    • 2 Extra-long U-bolt kits (CE11416; sold separately) are required for mounting on frames up to 3" wide x 5-1/4" tall
  • Bunk board dimensions (each): 60" long x 2" wide x 4" tall
  • Post dimensions: 18" tall x 1-1/2" wide
  • Extends out from boat up to 13"

Adjustable boat guides can be fine-tuned to work with your boat and your trailer. The pre-galvanized steel support posts mount horizontally on top of or below your trailer's frame rail. Just slide the posts into the boat guide supports and secure the posts so that the distance between the bunks correctly matches the width of your boat. The bunk boards then tilt to conform to the boat's hull. Guides will help to center your boat during loading and to hold the boat during transport.

Pre-Galvanized Steel

Pre-galvanized steel parts are stamped from a sheet of steel after it has already been galvanized. The edges of the pre-galvanized parts often lose their zinc coating during the stamping process. Because of the thinness of the coating less than 1 mil and the fact that the edges remain exposed, pre-galvanized parts can begin to oxidize and rust quickly, so its recommended that they be primed and painted.

I am impressed with the speed of shipment and delivery but have yet to apply to my boat trailer. Am looking forward to fixing the problem I've had with getting my boat centered on the trailer at the launch. Suggestion: sell just the brackets and save me the cost of the two-by-fours and carpet. I can do that myself at home. 347627

My Son recommended etrailer, stating the products + shipping resulted in a "No Brainer return". Well, I will confirm this statement. This was exactly what I needed for my jetboat. I ordered Sunday, and received it Friday, week of Thanksgiving. Super fast. I now have a new establishment where I will be coming back for trailer needs. This particular product, good construction, and easy install with all the applicable hardware included. I shopped around, and for the price + package, this was the best deal. Thanks etrailer....... 454681

GM George. The year-after follow up on the bunk style guides. They have been the best thing I have bought for my boat trailer in years. Im 82 years old, and Im launching and reloading a jetboat by myself. They have made this such an easy task. They are good quality, were easy to install. I would purchase this product again in the future if the need arises again.

I bought a 2007 16' Carolina Skiff for $3500 back in December. The dealer said there was nothing at all wrong with it and he went over it and winterized it. I finally got around to putting it in the water and saw that the bunk boards were in terrible shape, with one side rail guide-on falling off. I took it to a marina repair shop and was told it would be cheaper to buy a new trailer instead of replacing the bunk boards. I contacted Ashley at etrailer about buying a set of bunk boards and all of the brackets and hardware for it. $370.00 later I had a full set of bunk boards and guide-ons being shipped to me. I don't think I could find a new trailer for that price. It took longer to remove the old ones than it did to put the new ones on. About 3 hrs later I had a new trailer. These bunk boards and guide-ons fit my boat and trailer perfectly. Thank you Ashley and etrailer for great customer service and a very good product at a really decent price. 671941

Product was an exact replacement for the one i have. This would be better for me if it was hot dipped galvanized or even better a stainless steel option. I sprayed these with spray zinc but that is not as good as hot dipped. the installation hardware was easy to use. The installation video was a good help. I'm very satisfied with the product. 675361

Ok, so my EZ Loader trailer is not so EZ to load my 15' Smokercraft. I needed something, anything to help remedy the problem. The local boat shop suggested these instead of OEM Trailer Guides. So it took about 2 hours to put together and I have suggestions for anyone who is about to install these. 1. Go get a socket that will accommodate long bolts. A socket wrench is not going to cut it and you will scrape your knuckles trying to make it work. I used a spark plug socket and attached it to my drill. This absolutely cut my time in half! 2. If you have an EZ Loader trailer that is used for smaller boats (like mine), you will have no choice but to attach the brackets under the trailer. I wanted to attach it on top, but the only way to do so is to cut 6 inches off the horizontal portion of the steel "L" bracket. The reason is because the bunk board is in the way and you will only have 5 inches to work with. So keep that in mind. I just hope the height of the boards are tall enough when the trailer is in the water. 3. Call a buddy to help out! It makes life a lot easier. All and all, this wasn't that difficult to assemble. Again, I haven't put the boat in the water yet, but I am confident this will solve my problem of loading. 160986

Very happy with fitment and the speed of which I could install it. It took about an hour and 15 minutes. The side boards are in fact wood, and I recommend drilling pilot holes for the wood screws. Now for the negatives... Torque specs or the u-volts would have been appreciated for those of us that care. But most important would be the pivoting bunk mount. As seen in the photos, they are sheared off square. Rounded edges would be more appropriate as most kids around a boat are wearing clothing with little cut resistance. Someone sliding off the boat or getting their knee on it while getting in could really ruin an outing. I would have rounded them off myself, but I didn’t want to lose the galvinized finish. 540653

Installed on the boat trailer for my 14 ft Polarkraft MV Jon boat now I can load and unload the boat with out having to wade into the water. . I do not know low long it will last in saltwater, it was pregalvanized and not fully galvanized, only time will tell . Only negative was no instructions on how far to place out guide bunks, but figured it out, 1 in on bow and 2 to 3 inches from stern of . boat can now power boat on trailer , and walk out on bow and not get feet wet. helps in loading in winds here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Excellent service from Customer Rep . 181456

with salt water use I am replacing my set that I installed almost 5 yrs ago as the rust rot out at the vertical bend where there is a indent, prior to that the bolts that hold the bunks in suffered from wood rot

I don't know why I waited so long to put these on my trailer. They make loading much easier, especially in cross-winds and cross-currents. There is only an inch or so between the guides and the boat, so if it is between the guides it is on the trailer. My only (minor) issue is more of a compatibility problem between the guides and the trailer. I had to fasten the guides at their fully-inserted position in the clamps to get them close enough to my boat. As a result, the guides are not exactly parallel to the boat sides. Additionally, I have deep-v hull mounted high on the trailer, so the guides come less than halfway up the sides of the boat. But it all still works. 912084

very effective in controlling the boat when loading onto a trailer. Simple installation. I ordered the 60 inch guide-ons but I think a two or three foot guide-ons would have been sufficient for my 21 foot boat. I bought a second set for my boat lift, which replace the flexible uprights. The guide-ons are better because the boat can't run over them and get caught under the boat. Note: on instlallation, you need two spots less than five feet apart to mount the brackets!!! If your trailer has steps both in front and behind the wheel, this will be a problem. 891775

The Bunk-Style Guide-Ons I ordered are awesome! Sturdy and well made. I have been having trouble loading my flat bottom jon boat on my trailer as I didn't have anything to guide me on except the short rollers on the back of the trailer. Once the bow was past them, it was difficult in wind and current to stay straight. In the past I have had trailers with guide ons and they definitely solve the problem. I installed the guide ons myself and was so impressed with the quality of the hardware and the directions, even for a non mechanical guy like myself, it made them easy to install. I would recommend these guide ons to anyone who has a boat! 883215

Product seems very solid, and installed quickly. Shipped pretty darn fast, considering the whole COVID catastrophe. You should assume that it'll take a few more days than they say, but it's not etrailer's fault. One of the two carpeted bunks was slightly warped, but it's wood after all, and it wasn't so warped that it doesn't work. Perfect for keeping our boat centered on windy days while getting it onto the trailer, as we're average shmucks that are fortunate to own a boat but not rich enough to own a cabin where the boat would live. This makes the daily in and out at the boat launch that much smoother. I'd recommend it for sure. 817632
