Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this, weld-on Demco eZ-Latch gooseneck coupler head assembly in a nice, raw finish for your standard two and 5/16th-inch gooseneck ball. Now folks, this is gonna make your coupling easy with the eZ-Latch, so you don't ever have to actually lift this up to get the ball on, only to disengage the ball and have it come off. So it's a eZ-Latch, meaning it's gonna automatically latch and lock itself in place when it comes down onto the ball with pressure. So I did pull a ball that we have here. Keep in mind, this is a standard two and 5/16th-inch ball for a gooseneck.

It would look different on the base, obviously, but it's gonna work here for demo. So literally, again, you don't have to pull this up, it's literally the weight of the trailer, (metal clunking) automatically gonna engage that ball, automatically locking it in place. To disengage, I simply lift the lever, (metal clunking) very simple. (metal clunking) So again, folks, doesn't get easier than that, thus the name eZ-Latch, so very, very nice design here. I'm really impressed with all their products they do to where you don't have to get into the bed of the truck and mess with stuff.

It's just really easy to have it come down in place, and it's just one less thing you gotta do. Again, 30,000 pounds capacity is what it's rated at. It is ready to weld. There's no paint to scrape off or nothing. Again, you would just simply weld this on your existing gooseneck stem, and this is actually really, really safe.

It exceeds the SAEJ 684 requirements, so you got nothing to worry about there as far as safety or anything. Very nice, well made product, this is the Demco eZ-Latch weld-on gooseneck coupler head. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
