1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I looked around and etrailer had the best options, selection, and prices. The shipping was fast and I am impressed. I'm sure these new tires will work very well for my future fishing trips.
It's a great tire and holds air pressure for a long time. It rarely takes a top up. It rolls down the road with the best of them and supports the trailer without ever asking for time off. It does clean up nice when needed, but gets down and dirty without complaint.
Haven't put the tires on yet, but I am super pleased with etrailer's service. The trailer rim and tire combo shipped fast and arrived on time. It was crucial that they arrive on time as I need to install them and hit the road in a couple days. Tires are mint and the rims are very clean. Can't wait to see that they look like mounted. On the advice of Etrailer techs, I ordered this bigger size tire and wheel combination to match up to the existing trailer hub and lug bolt pattern and size. The techs said this combination would fit my hub and still fit under the fender. They were exactly right. Now I have an M speed rated 13" tire for up to 81 mph. Just what I need for my western state interstate speed limit. Very well done Etrailer!
I wanted to put larger wheels/tires on a small utility trailer I have and asked etrailer.com for advice. They advised this product so I bought it. I was in no hurry but they shipped it very quickly and I received it and installed them last weekend. They were the perfect size and accomplished exactly what I wanted.

Thank you for following up. All the products I bought are still working well and I am 100 satisfied. I still use them all except the tirewheel which is no fault of the product, I bought it as a spare for my trailer and knock on wood have never had to use it.

The tires that I had were left out in the Chicago winters and had cracks in the sidewalls so they were becoming unsafe to tow anywhere. I called many places for tires and was told how hard to find A78-13 and that the cost was way up there. Then I went on the internet and found etrailer and talked to Cristy who is part of your sale staff. She took away all my fears and took me by the hand thru your catalog and found the tires I needed and at a great price also. After talking to her I felt that a big weight had just been lifted off my back and I could see daylight at the end of the tunnel.
You should be commended that you have such a fine person working on your behalf and who knows how to handle confused customers over the phone.
I could feel that she was on my side and not just another sales person.
