Question:
ST175/80D13 Is this tire/wheel equal to B78-13ST, this is the tire on my Coleman pop-up camper

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Kenda Loadstar ST175/80D13 tire is the equivalent to the B78-13 tires on your Coleman pop-up camper. To determine if the wheel will work, you will want to make sure the bolt pattern on this wheel matches the bolt pattern on your hub. This wheel has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.
If you measure the distance between the center of one bolt on the hub or bolt hole on your current wheel to the center of the adjacent bolt (trailer) or bolt hole (wheel) and it measures 2-5/8 inches, then it will be a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2.
I have attached an article that details how to determine the bolt pattern that you need.
Another factor that you will want to take into consideration is the load rating of the tire. You will want to make sure that the 1,100 lb maximum load rating for this tire is sufficient for your trailer.
If you find that it is not, then you may want to take a look at the Kenda Karrier Tire and Wheel, # AM31951, which has a maximum load rating of 1,360 lbs at 50 psi.
You should choose tires that match the load rating of your axle. If you choose tires that are rated higher than your axle capacity, then you will still be limited by the axle capacity.
