Does Vehicle Speed Need to Be Reduced Due to Difference In Trailer Tire Size vs. Vehicle

Question:
Hi There, Im wondering If Im driving my truck at 81 MPH with a 31 overall height tire, then obviously your shorter overall height tire would be traveling faster than my 81 MPH. Question: So, Is your rating of 81 MPH actually based on the vehicles speedometer thats pulling it, or should I reduce my vehicles speed to reach the 81 MPH rating? Thanks

Hi Mark; you do not need to reduce your vehicle speed or make any calculations like that if you're using the # AM3S050 on your trailer. As long as the speedometer on your vehicle doesn't go over 81 mph you won't have an issue.
