Features to know about

Built for Confident Towing: 1,100-lb Capacity at 35 psi

When you’re hauling gear every weekend, you want a tire and wheel that can handle the load without breaking a sweat. The Loadstar ST175/80D13 bias-ply tire delivers a 1,100-lb maximum load at 35 psi, backed by a 1,660-lb-rated steel wheel. The combo meets Department of Transportation specs, so you can count on dependable performance mile after mile.

Smooth Stability on Uneven Roads: Bias Construction with 4-Ply Rating

The bias design uses durable nylon cords placed at 30–45 degrees in alternating layers. That layout lets the entire tire flex evenly while keeping the sidewalls stiff for stability. The result is a smooth ride and confident handling on rough or uneven surfaces—exactly what you want when the pavement ends or conditions get unpredictable.

Clean Look That Lasts: White Powder-Coated Steel Wheel

Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance thanks to the wheel’s e-coat primer and white powder coat finish. The 13"?× 4-1/2" steel wheel resists rust and road grime while keeping a clean, bright look season after season. Its 8-spoke Dexstar design adds a classic style that still works hard.

Ready to Mount and Go: Matched Tire-and-Wheel Assembly

No need to spend extra time at a tire shop. This assembly comes matched and aired up right out of the box, so it’s ready to bolt on and roll. The 4 on 4" bolt pattern with zero offset makes fitment straightforward, and the balanced setup gives a steady feel once you’re on the road.

Extra Peace of Mind: 1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee

Things happen on the road, but this combo backs you up. If the tire is damaged within the first 12 months, it’ll be replaced at no charge under Kenda’s worry-free guarantee. That’s one less thing to think about when you’re focused on getting where you’re going.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Tires got here quickly and are exactly what I am looking for waiting on my spacers so they will fit trailer. Going from 12 x4.00 tires to 175/80/13,s for my mini offroad trailer will pick up over an inch in width and 4" in height

by:

I received these way faster than I expected. They look great and the rubber looks like real quality material. The paint on the wheels is very well done. I haven’t mounted them yet. Still need to do the bearings and repair my side panels. If I’m proud of my work when I’m done, I’ll add a picture. I need another day. My original tires dry rotted after only 40 years. Go figure!!

by:

Tires and wheels were exactly as ordered, they came very quickly and loved the free shipping. Will order from them again when needed.

by:

by:

I put lesson 20,000 miles on these tires mainly traveling for boating tires seem to heat up and the tread seems to melt away. I only tow it 65 to 70 miles an hour the reason I bought these tires.

There is a 5-year warranty on the tire and limited 1-year warranty on the wheel. Americana likes to handle all warranties. Their phone number is 800-225-4714.

by:

Needed two new tires and wheels....ordered these Loadstar tires and wheels...they arrived mounted, inflated and look GREAT!

I would recommend these if you need a 13" 4 on 4 wheel combo!

by:

Rims are not very round, my wheels from 1977 didn't wobble like the new ones. The only reason i replaced them was to have spares. Tires seem ok, just quality of the rim I'm not impressed with.

by:

I was really impressed. I just finished putting it together. High quality parts, excellent workmanship, all the parts and holes lined up. The items where packed very neatly and secure upon delivery, everything in heavy duty cardboard boxes and protected with bubble wrap where needed. Came secured to a heavy duty wood pallet. The metal parts are stronger then I expected and the paint was excellent. The nuts, bolts, washers, and pins were plated. Love the use of lock nuts every where. Wheels and tires were top quality. The one thing I would like to see is the last part of the instruction book cover assemble of the sides in detail. The diagram helps but if someone is not mechanically inclined, they will have to be careful. Fourteen inch tires and wheels would help, the trailer is a little bigger then I had imagined. All in all, this trailer is much stronger then my previous 4' x 6' trailer purchased from another retail store. Very happy with this product, somebody deserves a gold stare for design, manufacturing, and packaging.

by:

this is why i bouight those wheels and tires. this is my rampless motorcycle trailer. i'm not quite through i need to put a wind break on the front of it. it hinges from the tounge to load. the shock keeps it from slamming down when loading and also keeps it from unloading to fast. works very well and will load and unload nearly any where.

by:

The tires have been great so far and what I expected for my little utility trailer. Size, performance and appearance have been excellent. Very pleased.

The tires have been working very well and very happy with them.

by:

I ordered these tires to replace some antiques I had on my kayak trailer. Two days later I had the tires sitting on my front porch. The tires and wheels appear to be well made, look great, and ride really smooth. Price wise they were cheaper with new wheels than replacement tires were locally. This is my second big purchase from Etrailer... and now I have a go to shop for all my towing needs.

Could not be happier with my first purchase from eTrailer. Needed spare tire and tire mount for my recently purchased 1981 Scotty Sportsman. After looking at my local Tractor Supply and online I ordered the Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13" White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range B and the MaxxTow Spare Tire Carrier. On-line reviews and videos were very helpful! Package arrived with no issues. Solved my spare tire problem for less than $100! I am very impressed with the etrailer.com.

by:

Great service. I was redirected to buy product in stock rather than waiting a month for my order to be filled. The suggestion was an excellent fix to a longer lead time.
I am very pleased with etrailers business ethic and Carols excellent service !
Thank you. I will use etrailers again.
Best regards

Here are some before and after pictures of a 1970 Apache pop-up trailer I've
been restoring. Some of the parts ordered from you are the galvanized roof
vent, 24" wheels and tires (which required raising the suspension 4"),
swivel jack. I had to wait awhile for the wheels and tires, but it isn't
quite camping season so I was planning ahead! The canvas was rotted so I
sewed new ends out of 1000D cordura.
I'm a cabinet maker, residential remodeler, and vintage motorcycle restorer,
so this sort of project is what keeps me off the streets at night.
Thanks

  • What Is The Metric Size Conversion For The A78-13 ST Trailer Tire Size
The replacement size for the A78x13ST original tire is the ST175/80-13. The overall diameter is 24.1 inches and the overall width is 7 inches. You might want to measure on your trailer to make sure you have the clearance for the ST175/80-13 size. The Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13 inch White Wheel, # AM3S030, you have referenced is a bias tire on a 13 X 4-1/2 white wheel. It sounds like you have a setup like the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM30000. This tire 16.1" tall and 4.6" wide. This particular wheel has a 2.5" pilot hole on the wheel. Finding a wheel with a matching pilot diameter is only a concern if you have hubs that are hub-centric. This type of hub uses the hub bore in order to center the wheel.
