This shock kit will replace the existing shocks on your 2-3/8" or 3" diameter round trailer axle. Fits 1-3/4" wide leaf springs. Includes attaching hardware.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this Replacement Dexter Bolt-On Shock Kit. Now, this is going to replace your current shocks to provide a more comfortable towing experience. This is going to work for 2-3/8 inch and 3 inch in diameter axles with 1-3/4 inch wide springs. The sturdy steel construction is going to ensure strength, and this black phosphate coating is going to protect against rust and corrosion. So it does include these two shocks, and as you can see, I do have the hardware kind of loosely attached here just to kind of give you an idea of the hardware placement.
So, again, you're gonna get the two shock absorbers, and you're gonna get the hardware, and this is gonna be for a single axle. Still functioning. The shocks are different than anything I have seen as they only dampen in one direction. You push them up and they dont return to the extended position. I guess gravity takes care of that. All in all they were a direct fit replacement with the Dexter axel They for sure did smooth out the bouncing I was getting without shocks.
