Video Transcript for Lionshead Tires and Wheels LHLR103 Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Lionshead 1/2 inch by 20 stainless steel cap lug nut. Now this is constructed of a steel lug with a stainless steel outer cap over it for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. This is designed to fit the 1/2 inch wheel bolts with 20 threads per inch. It does have the standard 60 degree tape around this. The overall height on this lug nut, very bottom to the top, is going to be right at 1 1/2 inches tall. It uses a socket size of 3/4 of an inch.

I happened to pull here's a 3/4 inch socket. You can see it fits right on there for installing or removing. That should do it for the review on the Lionshead 1/2 inch by 20 stainless steel cap lug nut.

Total junk. Less than a year after purchase the outter chrome shell started to split. These 2 piece designed lugs should NOT be sold.

My camper had chrome lug nuts and after 3 years was already having rust form on them. I keep the camper in a building with no sun hitting it and keep it clean and waxed. I got the stainless lugnuts hoping they will hold up better. They look good and fit the studs great. After several years i will write back to see if they hold up batter then original

I have always loved everything I have bought from you. Everytime I need something I always go to etrailer first and make sure you do not have it. I am getting ready to retire next year and I will be slowing down about buying anything but I will check with you if I need anything. The wheels went on our 30 ft 5th wheel and we will finally get to use it some after I retire. Keep up the good work at etrailer. A very happy buyer.

Lug nuts delivered on time and without any issues. A great bang for your buck, however due to two piece design, you will want to take care installing and removing lug nuts by hand and not with impact gun. If not over time they will degrade by bending or cracking and you'll end up replacing them. Install them manually and they will last for many years to come.

Absolutely love these wheels, exactly what I was looking for and great price too. Would definitely recommend etrailer.

For the price of these lug nuts, I was expecting solid machine nuts, not cheap (2) piece ..... had I known they were 2 piece, I would not have bought them. Next time I’ll call and ask more detailed questions about what I’m considering purchasing.

High quality lug nuts that work great with aluminum wheels. No problems whatsoever after a full year of use. They stayed torqued.

  • How to Determine Fit of Kenda Karrier Tire and Wheel AM34659
Yes, we offer a very large selection of RV wheels and tires, and it sounds like you are trying to determine if the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Tire w/ 14" Series T09 Aluminum Wheel # AM34659 will fit your travel trailer. If so, what you need to know first is your trailer hub's bolt pattern. This wheel and tire combo has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern so that's what your hub would need; if you do not know what yours is I have added a help article which details how you can find bolt...

  • Does 225/75-15 Trailer Tire Fit Aluminum Tiger Trailer Wheel
Yes, a 225/75-15 trailer tire, like the Kenda # AM10256 or Provider # TR225LRE, will fit the Aluminum Tiger Trailer Wheel # LHTG155BMF. This is a beautiful wheel that will improve the aesthetic of any trailer; the valve stem is included with this wheel, but for lug nuts you can use the Lionshead Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # LHLR103. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Aluminum Tiger Trailer Wheel # LHTG155BMF.

  • Best ST225/75R15 Load Range E Tires With 15 Inch Wheels & 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern
We can get you set up with new tires and wheels, and you are correct that you will need to stick with size ST225/75R15 tires, as you want at least 3 to 4 inches of space between the tires to account for the flexing that will happen when under load. Also, the rims on your current tires aren't rated highly enough for the GVWR of your '07 Raptor 3712TS, which according to my research has a 16,500 lb GVWR; you'll want tires and rims that, when combined, are rated to at least match and ideally...

We do have an option for a Westlake ST205/75R15 trailer tire and a chrome rim, though they do come separate as opposed to the tire already being mounted on the wheel. • Recommended Tire and Wheels for 2002 520dvx Ranger Single Axle Boat Trailer
You are correct in your understanding. Some people interchange the word wheel with rim, but they are the same thing and then of course you have tires. Wheels are usually rated for weights as are tires, so combinations that are made on our site will have the lesser capacity of the two for the max capacity. As you stated, each wheel and tire is rated based on just that single side, so you will double that for your axle. You are correct if that surpasses your axle capacity, you will...

  • Difference Between the Higher and Lower Priced Trailer Lug Nuts
The more expensive lug nuts like the part # KALN1375S and # LHLR103 are made of stainless steel and the lower priced ones like # AM90049 are chrome plated. Stainless steel does not rust or corrode so it's the best choice. Chrome plated lugs will eventually rust which normally manifests as the sockets stop fitting the lugs properly as the corrosion causes the lugs to "swell" and make them hard to deal with and eventually cause failure. If at all possible the stainless options are the way to go.
