Question:

I have a 1973 Airstream Argosy with torsion axle and secondary shocks. I am looking for replacement shocks. Does Etrailer handle these?

Hey Tim! We do have some replacement shocks available. However, I do not know what is on your 1973 Airstream Argosy. Check out the following:

-Lippert Heavy-Duty Replacement Shock # LC283280

-Lippert Standard Replacement Shock # LC283271

-Replacement Dexter Bolt-On Shock Kit # K71-697-00

I would measure your existing shocks and see if these look like they will fit. You probably have Dexter axles on there so the if one of these is going to fit it is likely the Dexter shocks. It might also be worth calling Airstream to see if they know a replacement part number, they're pretty good with their parts. If you need anything else feel free to reach out in the comments below.

Hey Tim, were you able to find replacement shocks that fit your Airstream Argosy? Knowing which option worked could really help others with older trailers like yours. Your update could point them in the right direction.
