Question:
I have a 2023 Jayco Eagle 317RLOK with factory mount for shocks. Are the the correct shocks? Upon trying to install, even with tire off the ground, I can not compress the shock enough to get both sides into the brackets.

Hey Todd, so our understanding is that from previous customers who have had your same RV the # LC283280 was the correct fit...but since these seem too long and RV components unfortunately aren't as consistent as they should be what you'd want instead is the part # K71-697-00 which is a little shorter by about an inch.
Also keep in mind the studs on the shocks could be grinded shorter to allow for easier fitting into the mounts.

Hey Todd, did the shorter Dexter shock kit end up fitting your Jayco Eagle better? Your update could make it easier for others trying to match shocks on similar RVs.
