Question:

I have a Crusier RV, 2018 year, 2916 Model, Tandem 6000lb Axles, it currently has Dexter 013-143-3 Equalizers along with Dexter Shocks, 16151s? Should I replace with such or go with a Morryde product or the Dexter EZ Flex? How about changing out shocks as well? While I am into it? My Shackles are hitting the frame as of late? I appreciate yor assisitance. thank you,

Hey Bill, thanks for reaching out. The best replacement for your Dexter 013-143-03 Equalizers are the Dexter E-Z Flex # K71-652-00. This is identical in size to the current equalizer so it will be an exact replacement. This kit comes with new wet bolts and 2-1/4" shackles so please make sure the current shackles are also the 2-1/4" from center hole to center hole.

As far as replacing the shocks, the Replacement Dexter Bolt-On Shock Kit # K71-697-00 is what I recommend. These shocks are 7-1/2" compressed and 13-1/2" overall including the mounting hardware. It's worth mentioning that these shocks are direct replacements for the shocks that come in the Dexter Axle Shock Kit K71-175-01 for 2-3/8" and 3" diameter axles with 1-3/4" wide springs. If that's what you have then these will work great for you.

@BillY I will list the typical Dexter 6K axle bearing and seal info for you below. Keep in mind that I cannot guarantee your axle uses these same sizes without unpacking the hubs and checking the bearing numbers. That or we could have Dexter run the SN. Bearings: Inner bearing: 25580 (1.75" inner diameter) Outer bearing: 15123 (1.25" inner diameter) Races: Inner race: 25520 Outer race: 15245 Grease seal: GS-2125DL Inner diameter: 2.125" Outer diameter: 3.376"

Hi Jesse, Yeah, I know it can be risky without details. I will pull them out and get them local to ensure I have the right ones. Thanks again; I just ordered the Equalizers and Shocks!
