When you need one light that does it all, this unit covers every base. The red rectangular tail light handles 8 functions—stop, turn, tail, rear clearance, rear reflex, side marker, side reflex, and license plate lighting—all in one sealed assembly. At 6-1/16" long x 3-3/4" tall x 2-1/4" thick, it’s built for trailers over 80" wide and mounts securely with its included studs on a 2" center spacing. The 3-wire design connects easily to a 12V DC system, drawing 2.3 amps for stop/turn and 0.9 amps for tail lights. With DOT compliance right out of the box, it gives you everything needed to stay visible and safe on the road or at the ramp.
Water intrusion can kill a light fast—but not this one. The housing and lens are sealed into one waterproof unit designed to handle full submersion. That means the circuit board and bulbs stay dry even when the trailer is backed down a ramp or hit with road spray. Shock-proof sockets protect the bulbs from vibration damage too, so your lights stay working long after others would have failed.
Replacing or installing is straightforward thanks to its stud-mount design with built-in hardware. The three-wire configuration is standard—power, turn/stop, and ground—making hookup quick without guesswork. Inside are standard 1157 and 194 bulbs that are easy to replace whenever needed, keeping maintenance simple and affordable for years down the line.
Trailers over 80" wide must show their full width at night, and this light makes compliance easy. Its integrated rear clearance and side marker functions mark both the edge and rear of the trailer clearly. A built-in license plate light illuminates your tag without needing a separate fixture. Everything stays neat, functional, and legal in one tidy package that mounts at the outer corners where it’s most effective.

Exact replacement. Couldn't find one anywhere else. L.E.D. option would have been nice.

Trailer light problems are the bane of anyone (like me) who has a number of toys, all of them on trailers. This time fixing the lights on my Shorelander PWC trailer was fast and trouble free. Etrailer accidentlly sent me an LED light assembly instead of what I bought
which was the equivalent incandescent assembly. I needed the incandescent
version in order to share parts with an existing light that had partially
broken. I called their technical support. They understood the problem very
quickly. They then quickly sent me the incandescent version. So although
they made a mistake, they recovered very quickly and professionally. I was
pleased and impressed.
Used this light to replace one I cracked on my Lowe trailer driving over a pipe. Other than some minor wire connection modifications, it fits and works like new. My trailer has plug-in lights, so I used waterproof butt connectors to join the old plugs to the new lights.
Second time I bought one of these lights. Both times the lens was gone when I got to my destination on the first tow. Granted it was on a dirt road but have towed many trailers on it over the years with no problems. Going to look for a better quality this time.

I reached out to the manufacturer and it is not common for the lenses to go missing however the lights to do have a three year warranty. We also carry replacement lenses, part # ST56RS.
I had trailer light problems (who hasn't?) and found etrailer on the web. The site was extremely well organized and made it easy to find what I was looking for.
I had a question regarding the kind of wire connector needed. It was answered promptly by E-mail.
The lights and connectors arrived as promised and the installation was straightforward thanks to the videos on the site.
The rack is very well built and it holds both of my ebikes. It was easy to build and the rack is easy to load. The seller’s employee was was very friendly, very knowledgeable and great to order from.

A year later the rack is still great and doing everything it’s supposed to. We ride a lot and see many bike racks on SUV’s and none of them come close to out performing this rack. Again thanks for a great rack!

I got it working but installed on travel trailer and could not use the slots mad for I had to improvise it to secure it right and did the same on the tag holder. I took a piece of sheet metal and attached it behind the light
