The closest tail lights to your 3-3/8x5-7/8 measurements on your boat trailer are the STL57RB for the driver's side and STL56RB for the passenger side.   Unfortunately William, I have no way to look at exactly what parts are installed on your Karavan KHD-2000-60-8-RR utility trailer. Based on images I could find it does look like the Incandescent Tail Light # ST56RS you found.   We do offer the right hand version of the # ST57RB light. Part # ST56RS would feature the same functions as the left tail light, but does not include a license plate illuminator. I would recommend using some electrical tape and some dielectric grease, part # 11755, to make the installation as clean and secure as possible.

  Optronics tail lights # ST56RS and # ST57RS are submersible assemblies. This means that water can drain out of them. What I recommend are sealed lights such as # STL57RB and # STL56RB so water cannot get in at all. Sealed lights will have far less issues than regular submersible lights.

  The left hand version of the part # ST56RS is actually part number # ST57RS. The biggest difference is that this one has a light for the license plate that would be mounted below it.   Unfortunately Malcolm, Optronics does not manufacturer replacement lenses for your Tail Lights # ST57RS, # ST56RS. You would either have to get all new lights to use their lenses or you could replace your tail lights with ones like the # TLL160RK. These are LED upgrades so they will be brighter and last longer. And we do carry the Replacement Lenses # A16RB which will fit these lights.

  The Optronics Trailer Tail Light # ST31RB is considered to be a weatherproof light, which means it can withstand the occasional rain shower, and according to my contact at Optronics, it is in fact submersible. That being said, I took a look at the light and wasn't able to really notice any type of seal surrounding the bulb, so I believe we have far better options for you.
