The Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator is built to handle wet or salty conditions. Swapping out an old or discontinued actuator doesn’t have to be a chore. This one bolts right onto a 3" x 5" straight tongue without special adapters or welding. With its 7,500 lb capacity and 2" ball coupler, it’s a solid fit for trailers that originally used A-60 or similar models. It lines up cleanly and gets you back on the road fast without fabrication work.
When your tow vehicle slows, the actuator telescopes forward and applies hydraulic pressure to your drum brakes. I ordered this surge brake hitch without the back up solenoid. Due to supply chain problems it was going to take 3 months to ship. Upon receiving it far ahead of schedule it had the solenoid included at no extra charge meaning that someone at etrailer expedited my order and kept me happy at etrailers expense. How can you top that for service?
