Question:
What is the difference between these two A-60 brake actuators? DX83FR vs DX59FR Cant seem to see any difference in them. I have a Shorelander boat trailer that has a UFP A-60 hitch with drum brakes, 2 ball, 6,000 GVWR, tongue max of 750 lbs. I have to replace the outer member as well because the forward pin holding the inner member cannot be removed. Im attempting to determine if one of these is an appropriate replacement.

Hey David, there's a small difference between the two actuators you mentioned and it seems actually pretty silly. But the # DX59FR doesn't come with a cap whereas the # DX83FR does come with a cap for the master cylinder. Aside from that they are the exact same. I would go with the one with a cap...

Hey David, did you decide to go with the actuator that includes the cap for the master cylinder? I'm curious to know if it worked well for your Shorelander boat trailer, as it could help others in a similar situation.
