Question:
I have a 2018 Shorlandr tandem axle boat trailer. Axles are 3500lb each. I need the entire brake actuator assembly but I don’t know which one is correct. I also need replacement hub assemblies for the axle without brakes. Can you provide part numbers for what I need? Thank you

Hey Blake! Are those disc brakes or drum brakes? The Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX56FR you were looking at is designed for disc brakes, fits a 3" x 5" tongue, and has a 2" coupler so it will fit a 2" ball. If that matches what you have now this will work as replacement. If you have drum brakes the equivalent would be the # DX83FR. If you setup is different let me know and I'll see what else is available.
Since you have 3,500 lb axles and that is a newer trailer it is safe to assume they use standard parts. For replacement hubs you can use the # AKIHUB-545-35-EZ-K or for a galvanized hub # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K. If you want a pre-greased galvanized we also have the # CE13515. All of these have 5 on 4-1/2 bolt patterns.

Hey Blake, did the Dexter brake actuator you purchased work out for your trailer setup? I'm asking because your experience could help others with similar trailers.
