Replacement For A-60 Surge Brake Actuator
Updated 06/02/2023 | Published 06/01/2023 >
Question:
I have an older Fulton A60 actuator and Im looking for a replacement. It looks like I have to do a bolt on rather than the old slide in? The tongue is also a swing away. Will this affect the installation of a bolt on if I dont plan to use the swing away? Thanks

Yes, you do need a bolt-on to replace your A-60 actuator, and the swing-away won't be a factor since you are not using it. So long as you have a 3" x 5" straight tongue and drum brakes the correct replacement for an A-60 actuator is the following:
- Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator - Bolt On - Drum - 2" Ball - Zinc - 7,500 lbs # DX83FR
