When you’re hauling gear or towing a trailer, the rear end can sag and throw off your balance. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 7,000 lbs of load support with hollow rubber springs that sit above the axle. Great upgrade when pulling our 6500lb travel trailer. Helps with sag and control on the road on our Ram 1500. Change the stock shocks and if you choose, upgrade your stock springs, and you'll get the most out of your half ton.
Absolutely Pleased with the TIMBRENS. They were easy to install, and took less than an hour to install both. I noticed a slight stiffness in the ride as the rear bounced over a bad roadway. Towing is great, with a nice level and smooth ride. I am glad that I did not order the heavier duty Timbrens, than what was recomended for my truck. I believe the ride would have been too stiff. If you look at the photos showing the timbrens, the truck is still lifted in the rear, so what you see is a big gap between the rubber, and the steal plate. When the truck is lowered, there's 1" of space as it should be. BTW, I have been purchasing from etrailer for years now, and I have to say that I have never had any issues with any orders. They are my go to folks for all of my vehicle suppension stuff and trailer stuff. You can't go wrong with buying from them.
Easy install took about 20 minutes on my 2017 Ram 3500 SRW. Had about 1/2 inch clearance as recommended. Loaded up my 5th wheel (2350 hitch weight) and about 200 lbs of gear in the bed. Just got back from a 800 mile camping trip through mountains of TN. You can really feel the difference around those sharp corners and uneven surfaces. The truck felt firm and controlled not hard and jarring as some have mentioned. Going over those overpasses with the wonderfully smooth (Not) joists was greatly improved. The truck would squat and rebound again, with a firm controlled response. Driving without a load felt the same as before without them. I would highly recommend these! Ordering from etrailer continues to be my go to option!

Easy to install and preformed better than expected
A challenge to put in but I got them in and they significantly decreased my RV Sway
The Timbren arrived within one week of ordering them. I installed them myself. They were a little more difficult to install than I anticipated. I am happy with the performance.
Well didn’t think it was gonna be here on time, when I saw usps thought o no gonna be 3 extra days, but low n behold arrived 3 days early, big shout out to e trailer, I’m not home at this time to ck it out but a least it was delivered, may leave update after install
A slight improvement but the product does not stabilize the rear suspension as much as i hoped it would. Rocks from side to side too much.
I installed the bumpers on my 2017 Thor Siesta motor home with the Sprinter 3500 chassis. Removal of the original bumpers were simple and easy. The installation of the new ones was not so easy. The installation instructions were poor. I know why there is no video of this task. It was a trial and error process for me. I finally ending up using three large flat tip screwdrivers . Once I installed one side the other was easy. I have not driven the motor home on the highway yet so I don't know if they improved the ride.
Once we got it right. The first pair was to weak for my Navion and the blocks would fold over and come out. The customer service Rep sent me a beefier set of blocks. That solved the issue and I have been very happy with the extra support and sway control on the Navion motorhome.
Was somewhat of a struggle getting the hard rubber flanges into the welded brackets on the Mercedes frame,, a couple of larger flathead screwdrivers and some liquid hand soap definitely made the job so much easier !! Awesome driving improvement on my Mercedes Sprinter Thor Tiburon 24 TT
Installed the Timbren SES suspension aid on a 3500 Sprinter-based Winnebago motorhome. The ride/handling around town is improved - but have not experienced highway use yet. Installing these is very difficult. Required 4 hours for frustration and hard work. You must install one end of rubber mounting tab into bracket on frame and then "work" other tab into the frame bracket using large screwdriver, small wrecking bar, or both. Timbren recommends soapy water - others have used silicon or WD40 (which Timbren does not recommend). It would be nice of the instructions provided more detail on installation technique.

I am going to install the Timbren MBRSP35A - Rear Axle SES Suspension Upgrade on my RV, but until they arrive, I re-installed the original that I took out for dimensions. I did quickly discover the difficulty of re-installing it, but also found a trick that helped and once found it installed fairly easy. As mentioned above, install one end of the rubber mounting tab into the bracket on the frame. Next, dont try to get the opposite tab in all at once...start with the inside corner of the tab, and with a large screw driver, begin working from the inside towards the outside, stuffing it just a little at a time...no soap, no lube...it just slipped right in.I hope that helps. I think the MBRSP35A - Rear Axle SES Suspension Upgrade will even be easier because you at least have the full body to grip and apply pressure as you work the screwdriver.
Less ride motion when changing lanes or dealing with crosswinds. It was challenging for the recommended provider to install. Worth the expense.

After a year I would rate these as excellent. They have done everything I wanted and the Navion is substantially more stable. Most people add the back ones and that did help but then added the front ones and everything improved. The system seems very balanced and is know an ease to drive.
