Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Flair-It PEX 90-degree elbow swivel fitting. This RV freshwater plumbing 90--degree swivel elbow coupler is going to connect pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system. Whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install new lines, this is going to work with your PEX pipes, those old gray PB pipes, and poly vinyl tubing. This half an inch FSWV collar is going to fit tanks or pipes with a half an inch MSWV connection, and this three-eighths inch barbed connection is going to fit three-eighths of an inch inner diameter hoses and tubes, and this barbed connection with the compression end, this compression nut, means that you don't need any tools for a secure fit.

So this is going to be a very simple install for you. Now then of course, this 90 degree elbow is gonna let the flow of water change direction without the risk of kinking your tubing. And to install this, you're going to slide this compression nut over your pipe, and then you are going to insert this barbed end into your pipe. Now this is going to take a little bit of doing. You might have to rock this fitting back and forth, and apply quite a bit of pressure to get that to slide into place.

But then once that's in, you are going to slide this compression nut back over this, the threading here, and then just begin to thread that into place. That's going to tighten it down, and you're gonna have a great secure connection. Now, this connection we have, this secure connection, we have been overall very impressed with just how secure it is. We tried installing other flared fittings and following the instructions that we just went over. The connection is very strong, very secure.

And of course, this is designed to install by hand to get it tightened down. But if for whatever reason you ever have to take this fitting out of that pipe, it's going to take a lot of effort to get this uninstalled or disconnected from that pipe where you might even need a pair of vice grips or something like that. So all that to say, once you have this installed, the connection's going to be very tight, very secure for you, and you're not gonna have to worry about it. The swivel connection is going to reduce stress on your hose or pipe, and the polyoxyethylene construction is durable and resistant to stress and cracking.
