When you’re hauling or towing, rear-end sag can throw off your balance and steering. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 11,000 lbs of rear support to keep your vehicle level and stable when loaded down. Its hollow rubber springs sit above the axle to reduce squat and help your steering and braking stay consistent even with a full bed or a heavy trailer behind you.

Rough roads don’t have to mean a rough ride. The Aeon hollow rubber springs cushion bumps and potholes, absorbing road shock so you stay comfortable and in control. By taking the brunt of the impact, they also protect your factory suspension from bottoming out and extend its life over time.

When crosswinds or curves push your rig around, these springs work independently to keep each side planted. That independent movement cuts down on body roll and sway so you stay stable through turns, uneven ground, or when a passing semi tries to rock your trailer.

Installing serious load support doesn’t have to be complicated. This system replaces your factory bump stops using vehicle-specific brackets and hardware—no drilling or airline routing required. Once it’s bolted up, it automatically adjusts as weight changes, becoming more rigid as the load increases without any compressors or manual adjustments to worry about.
The heavy-duty rubber design is built for repeated compression under demanding loads while staying elastic enough for a comfortable ride when unloaded. It’s a straightforward setup that delivers progressive support, stability, and long-term reliability backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Thanks for taking the time to share such a detailed review and all of the pictures! The unloaded ride is a concern we hear fairly often with SES upgrades, so your experience with the 1" gap and rough-road testing will be really helpful to others considering these for their F-250. We appreciate the kind words about Naomi and our team as well. Looking forward to your update once you get some miles on them with the Rockwood!

Love hearing this! Really appreciate the detailed feedback and photos. That extra stability when you're loaded up can make a huge difference. And installing them at 11 at night—that's commitment. Hope they treat you just as well on those mountain roads. Safe travels and we'll definitely make sure Dee Dee gets the shoutout.

Now that its been a year Im very impressed with them. Theres no ride detriment without the 5th wheel attached and they do a great job of mitigating squat

Wow, thank you for sticking with us, Don! That is awesome. I think you made an excellent choice here. Timbrens are tough and the heavy duty are SUPER tough. Glad to hear these were a good fit. Love the photos! Is that your own property?

The TIMBRENs work as stated during when I am pulling anything heavy. However, when the truck is not pulling anything, anyone riding in the rear seat gets a very hard jarring jolt when driving over any roadway repairs, bumps, expansion joints on bridges. I wished that I would have went with the Super Springs, or the Road Active Suspension. I may replace the TIMBRENS later.

Glad to hear the Timbren systems worked out so well for your RAM Van Mitchell! It’s great that you noticed the smoother, more progressive response compared to the factory bump stops, especially under load. Thanks for sharing your experience with both the front and rear installs, that’s really helpful for others considering the upgrade. What kind of loads are you usually hauling with your van?

A great improvement in the suspension for stability and ride. They are one item added to improve the suspension along with Timbren bump stops in the front, Bilstein B6 struts and rear shocks plus a heavy duty Helwig anti-sway bar. My motor home now rides and drives with great improvement and is so much more stabile.
