When your rear suspension squats under a heavy load, steering and braking can feel off. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 6,000 lbs of support to level and stabilize your vehicle. The hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to take on extra weight, helping reduce sag while improving traction and control. You’ll notice more confident handling when towing or hauling without the front end lifting or lights pointing into the sky.
Bumps and dips don’t have to knock you around. These Aeon hollow rubber springs act as shock absorbers that take the brunt of rough roads, cushioning your ride while loaded. The convoluted design collapses progressively—soft under light loads and firmer as weight increases—so you get a smooth, comfortable ride without harshness when empty and strong support when it counts.
When a gust of wind or tight corner tries to push you around, each spring works independently to keep your vehicle level. This independent action helps cut down on body roll and sway, making handling more stable during quick maneuvers or off-center loads. It also keeps trailer movement from transferring to your vehicle, so sway settles faster and you stay in control.
Adding serious suspension support doesn’t have to be complicated. The Timbren system bolts onto each frame rail above the rear axle using custom-fit brackets and hardware—no drilling required. With no air lines, compressors, or gauges to maintain, it’s a straightforward DIY install that gets you back on the road with reliable load-leveling performance for years to come.

Today we're going to take a look at the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1995 to 2011 Fiat Ducato and a 2014 and newer Dodge ProMaster 2500 and RAM ProMaster 2500 vehicles. Now on a custom fit part I always like to recommend for you to to go our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this part will work for your application. Now this kit will improve the suspension, the handling and safety on your vehicle. Provides additional support as needed, so you always get a nice, smooth, comfortable ride, and it does allow the leaf spring ample movement, cushions any light loads, so it'll ride just as smoothly when you're not hauling a load. Now these do become more rigid as more weight is added so that'll increase stability, gives you great performance when you're hauling heavy loads, and it'll help reduce rear sag. Now these do work independently, side to side so they help compensate for any off-center loads, helps reduce body roll when you have swerve or execute a sharp turn.
They will also act as a shock absorber, taking the brunt of any bumps and rough roads, so it helps extend the life of your suspension. This part will include everything shown here on the table. Two aeon hollow rubber springs, the mounting brackets, and the mounting hardware for a nice, simple installation, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how to install everything. Now these are designed to replace your axle bump stops on your frame. There's no drilling required. Specs on this is 8,600 pounds, but you do want to make sure not to exceed your vehicle's weight carrying capacity.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Upgrade has worked quite well in the year since it was purchased. I also added Hellwiggs helper spring kit and changed tires to Michelin Agilis Cross Climate. One can drive the Ram Promaster 3500 camper fully loaded with complete confidence, now.

The unloaded ride is a concern we hear fairly often with SES upgrades, so your experience with the 1" gap and rough-road testing will be really helpful to others considering these for their F-250. The TIMBRENs work as stated during when I am pulling anything heavy. However, when the truck is not pulling anything, anyone riding in the rear seat gets a very hard jarring jolt when driving over any roadway repairs, bumps, expansion joints on bridges. I wished that I would have went with the Super Springs, or the Road Active Suspension. I may replace the TIMBRENS later.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out, that’s actually a common issue with this type of trim. The one you tried is a standard flat insert, but some RVs (like your NOBO) use a slightly domed trim to help it sit over the screw heads in the track. If the screws stick up even a little, a flat trim won’t fully snap in place, which sounds like what you’re running into. The best way to find the right replacement is to remove a small piece of your original trim, lay it flat, and measure the full width from edge to edge. Most are either 3/4" or 1", but the shape matters too, not just the width. If yours has that domed profile, you’ll want something similar or a softer vinyl that can flex over the screws. If you’re able to send a quick photo of your track or old trim, I’d be happy to help you find a better match.
