ELlen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today, we're taking a quick look at the Taylor Made novelty boat flag. This is going to have a crab displayed on your flag. So if you want to show off your catch of the day or your favorite aquatic animal, your favorite seafood, whatever. Maybe you're a Cancer and the Zodiac, whatever the case might be, this is going to give you that fun novelty flag to fly on the boat or at home. Now, if you're are going to be flying this in the elements, it's a good idea to make sure that it's fully dry before you pack it up and store it away.
That way it isn't going to get moldy or mildewy over time. It's a nice nylon material. So it should be up to the task for being out in the elements. If it's really high winds, you might want to run it down the line and not have it flying, just so it doesn't get too frayed but the ends, the fly end is reinforced stitched. So there's a quadruple stitch there and then a double stitch going around the rest of the hem. On the halyard, it does have a reinforcement as well behind those grommets.
So it gives us a good sturdy place for that to get mounted onto our flagpole. It doesn't come with a flagpole or any of the hardware that you would need to attach it to one. But we do have a lot of options here at etrailer.com. If you want to pick up a flagpole to go on your boat, different options, metal, teak, wood. So you can get kind of whatever you want there. As far as the size of this flag, it's about 18 inches long by about 12 inches tall.
So let's actually measure it here. So the one I have, but they can all be a little bit different. This one looks it's about 18 and three quarter inches from end to end. Top to bottom, it's about 12 and a quarter. Sometimes it can be a little bit off from that.
Distance between the grommets looks like it's about 10 and three quarter inches.Any of those attachment points on your flagpole, usually they're going to be adjustable but if you have one that's maybe some eye bolts that are running into that teak, then you might need to adjust those just depending on your setup. But that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the novelty crab flag. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right one for you. If not, we do have other options available with other types of seafood and aquatic life. So check them out. Thanks for watching..
