If you’ve driven with standard square bars, you know the hum that never stops. These aero-style JetStream crossbars are shaped to help reduce that wind noise and vibration while you drive. The rubber strips in the top channels also seal things up to keep airflow smooth and quiet, so your highway ride feels calm and controlled instead of noisy.
Most channel systems make you trim rubber just to mount accessories. Not here. The push-down rubber strips in the JetStream top channels let you press hardware right into place—no trimming required. The strips close back around the mounts to keep out wind and weather while making setup straightforward and frustration-free.
This rack is built to handle whatever your year looks like outdoors. Throw on a kayak or canoe carrier in summer, clamp on a ski or snowboard rack in winter, or mount a cargo box for long road trips. The bars work with both channel-mount accessories and clamp-on designs from most major brands, giving you plenty of flexibility across different kinds of gear.
You can add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores, sold separately, to deter theft of the rack. It’s an easy upgrade that keeps your investment protected when you leave the vehicle parked during trail stops or overnight trips.

Did not get to mount anything to it but seems really sturdy. One thing I can say is mark out your mounting points with provided stickers then put up and make adjustments to the roof rack.
As usual, Yakima quality and design are unsurpassed. Easy to mount as well. I have not used them as much as I expected for two reasons. On my pickup they are way up there. Need a ladder to access them. Also, the carwash I use requires that they be removed. So, I leave them off for the most part.
Your notice of schemes was a lot better than the yakima site provided. They did not suggest the scheme you did.
But when the products arrived, the instructions were by yakima. Generally worked as instructed except the tower to tower transverse mounting dimensions needed to be tweaked for a perfect fit.
So far so good. Purchased these towers to use on a 2022 GMC Canyon with HD bars that I already had, primarily to carry my canoe. Yakima's fitting instructions worked perfectly and the whole system seems really solid.
Excellent solution for my 2023 Chevy Silverado. In the past, I have had rails installed on the roof of my pickup trucks, but I find the BaseLine towers to be a better solution, since they don't permanently change the truck. Plus, they are much more solid than SkyLine system on the rails.

Great UX for finding the options matching my car, and the baseline towers work great. Simple straightforward site, will plan to use them again when needed.
For those also buying crossbars for cars without roof rails, recommend taking a silver sharpie and marking the placement of the crossbars on the weather seal at the top of the door openings. Makes putting them back on way less of a hassle if you don’t want them on 24/7.
