This rack keeps things neat with its flush design—nothing sticks out past the legs, so it sits closely against the roof for a factory-style look. The aerodynamic Vortex Aero crossbars have a slim elliptical profile that cuts through the air and blends in cleanly. It’s a low-profile setup that looks like it belongs there, not something that was slapped on top.
Wind noise can get old fast, especially on long drives. The Vortex strips running along the top channels help reduce drag and noise while cushioning your gear. The aluminum crossbars are designed for airflow, so you don’t get that constant whistling you hear from boxier bars. You don’t have to worry about load stability with this setup. The rails look great and are extremely easy to install and adjust. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because they won't hold that much weight. Pending on the size of you rack, if you choose to install 1, you will need to include it's weight along with any gear you decide to carry. Being a jeep, I chose not to put too much weight on them to keep it from becoming top heavy. I do wish they would could be installed further back on the roof but that's the nature of them mounting to the rain gutters. Overall good product.

I was looking for a reasonable solution for cross bars for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. The cost were unreasonable.
Last year. I had purchased RhinoRack cross bars for my 2017 Grand Cherokee and was really happy with them. When I found the Rhino Cross bars for the Wrangler, at a good price I was relieved.
They came in just when they were supposed to arrive and mad a good choice. The quality is great and the assembly easy.

Works for my needs. Keeps paddleboard properly secured while offroading to beach. Rack has been on Rubi for a year and has been used like a Rubi should be.
This is a good product and attached to my Jeep very easily. The etrailer folks are fantastic and I will buy from them again!
The gutter mount legs are a very tight fit going into the cross bar and I broke one when putting it together. Even though it was well past 30 days after receipt when I got around to putting this together, when I called the etrailer folks they sent me a new gutter mount right away. They even followed up to make sure I had received it and was happy.
You can buy these types of things from many places, but when you have a problem it truly matters who you buy from. I highly recommend etrailer!
Very good product! Sound construction, snug fit into the gutters of my Jeep's hardtop. Secure locking clamps. Never had a issue with the cargo rack or kayak securing to the roof rack. Low profile has clearance for my garage door.
These Vortex Crossbars worked out great. Not a lot of options in regards to roof storage out there for a JKU that aren't permanent. These bars worked out great and are an easy install.
These roof racks were the ones I was looking for and I found that etrailer had the best prices. I called etrailer to make sure these would fit on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and the person I talked to was very helpful, she knew the products and answered all the questions I had. Not only did I find the products for a great price, I got my order within three days. Great service!

These racks are working great. I have used them for my Kayak and also to haul 2x4 boards and anything else I needed to put on the roof of my Jeep. Great Product and service.
So far so good. I couldn't pass up the price on these. I'm travelling to Illinois from Colorado over Thanksgiving with an 80lb Basset Hound so I needed all the cargo space inside my Jeep. I bought a Thule box and verified these would work with it through etrailer. Quick response to my question, fast shipping, and the bars arrived in perfect condition. I haven't put these on yet, I'll send pics when I do.

Ive used these on several trips and have not disappointed!
the racks were only really used to carry surfboards on a few times and the boards stayed on the roof without blowing off or the rack coming completely off boards and all so they did work for one or two three hour high way speed trip !
It did take 4 try's to replace one bolt/ threaded nut that was the heart of the rack system to stay on the jeep's roof securely !
But they finally figured it out and added a few extra ones .I have not tried to take the racks off the jeep's hard top yet so I will see at some point the rust factor of the hard ware that is supplied to mount the racks !
So as you can see all I can say is so far so good ! because we are in lock down for most of this past year and counting

They are still on my jeep but have been for only long distant trips with surfboards on them in pairs side by side with good straps ! Get some wind whistle when there is no loads on the rack when at highway speeds but not bad ! I just turn up the radio ??
I think my order was a previous return. Not only did it arrive 2 weeks after I placed my order, there was some uneven wear. Also, it arrived with no paper instructions, and it came to me missing a critical component (rubber rain gutter protector) as well as a washer I can replace myself. A call to etrailer left me with only 2 options - return the item or call Rhino to ask them to send a replacement part. Neither option facilitates the support I need to get me ready for the trip I ordered the rack for. Very frustrating.
This rack was super easy to install on my 2023 Gladiator Rubicon. They even provide the tools to install it. I change out what I mount on the rack. I have a bike rack,kayak rack, and a Thule basket that I use when the need arises.

Very nice looking and very sturdy! The ends were a little hard to insert into the cross bars, but after shaving a small amount of plastic off they slid in nice and tight. Cross bars make ZERO noise, even at highway speeds!
Great fit on my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Ecodiesel. I put the front rack in the back so I can still take off the Freedom top. Very solid and easy to install. It carries my car top carrier very well. I appreciate that the bolts are a theft resistant hex with a pin in the middle. The only way to install and remove is with the wrench provided. (See picture).
worked great for toting snow skies. I have a Yakima that we put up there but didn't take because the garage at the condo had a height limit. It looks cool, easy to put on took maybe 15min. No issues after owning for year.
Installed on a 2022 Jeep JLU (4 Door Unlimited) Sahara.
Received quickly after ordering. Box came completely intact. All parts were present. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Installation was quick and easy. I did use the front rail as the rear rail. I did this because I don’t want the rack to be above the freedom panels. Both rails fit perfectly and maintain the 31” spacing called for in the instructions. We tested this setup for added wind noise. There was absolutely none.
Out of the box it is really sharp looking, putting together took alittle time just because the bolts have to line up, do not tighten the bolts very far due to mounting on the actual vehicle. Installing on the jeep went smooth, took more time to measure the correct distance then to mount the actual bars. Note do not take off side brackets and try lining them back up with the bolts just loosen as far as u can and slip them on and tighten them evenly. Driving down the road u can hear a little whistle but two clicks on the radio and it's gone. And shipping was fast! Haven't mounted the J bars yet but I guarantee it's easy as the bars were.
These racks just spent 6 months on the Jeep and I was worried that there would be some paint damage or discoloration, but there was none.
I just wished that there was a factory support on further to the back on my roof to attach them.
I have seen spy photos of the 2018 Jeep and it looks that they did just that.
These racks are quality and worked perfectly for me.
2018 Jeep Wrangler unlimited JK Altitude. Ordered my Rhino-rack Sg with Aero Crossbars, Rhino-rack Roof Basket and a cargo net on a Sunday afternoon got an email Monday morning that my stuff shipped! Received all in excellent condition on Wednesday! Couldn't believe that type of service is still out there. Not to mention free shipping. Everything fit perfect and the wife and I couldn't be more happy! Great addition to Jeep!
