What would be required to make this fit a 2011 F250 crewcab XL without existing roof mounts? Im going a little crosseyed looking at all the different roof mount options.

It is a lot of information. The best way to add a set of crossbars to mount the Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket item # Y07139-09 to the roof of your 2011 Ford F-250 crew cab is to use the roof rack by Yakima which includes the following parts:

BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers - Qty 4 item # Y79QR

This is a flush mounted roof rack that does not extend over the sides of the mounting legs. It measures 56-3/4" long x 6" wide x 4-3/4" tall. This roof rack like all of the others for your F-250 has a 165 lbs capacity.

I also recommend purchasing the Yakima Same Key System item # Y07206. These lock cores will allow you to lock and unlock both your roof rack and cargo basket with the same key.
