Wind noise can ruin an otherwise peaceful drive. The JetStream crossbars tackle that problem with an aerodynamic shape that helps reduce drag and vibration. Rubber strips fill the top channels to quiet airflow and keep things stable at speed. The design also looks great—sleek silver aluminum bars that add strength without adding bulk.
Many racks make you cut rubber strips before you can install your gear. These don’t. The push-down rubber strips in the top channels let you press hardware right into place—no trimming required. Once your cargo box or kayak mount is installed, the strips close back around the hardware to help seal out wind and water while keeping your setup neat and secure.
Whether it’s water gear in summer or snow gear in winter, this rack supports the accessories you already own. The aero-style crossbars work with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers that either mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars. Did not get to mount anything to it but seems really sturdy. One thing I can say is mark out your mounting points with provided stickers then put up and make adjustments to the roof rack.

Your notice of schemes was a lot better than the yakima site provided. They did not suggest the scheme you did.
But when the products arrived, the instructions were by yakima. Generally worked as instructed except the tower to tower transverse mounting dimensions needed to be tweaked for a perfect fit.

So far so good. Purchased these towers to use on a 2022 GMC Canyon with HD bars that I already had, primarily to carry my canoe. Yakima's fitting instructions worked perfectly and the whole system seems really solid.

Excellent solution for my 2023 Chevy Silverado. In the past, I have had rails installed on the roof of my pickup trucks, but I find the BaseLine towers to be a better solution, since they don't permanently change the truck. Plus, they are much more solid than SkyLine system on the rails.
Had two different vehicles to get ready for two different trips and Joshua diligently tracked dow the correct Yakima accessories and backorder challenges. No other provider came close to this level of service. Excellent work! Both trips made better!

Great UX for finding the options matching my car, and the baseline towers work great. Simple straightforward site, will plan to use them again when needed.
For those also buying crossbars for cars without roof rails, recommend taking a silver sharpie and marking the placement of the crossbars on the weather seal at the top of the door openings. Makes putting them back on way less of a hassle if you don’t want them on 24/7.

I was able to use these clips to mount a roof rack and roof box on my Audi that had a naked roof, and they did the job! I took it on a 1,200 mile road trip and after I returned there wasn’t any damage to the paint, and even though there are rubber inserts on the inside of the clip to prevent scratches I was still a bit surprised.
If you don’t have roof rails on your car, these definitely help!
