These MORryde StepAbove steps lift and lower with the help of gas struts, so you can move them with just one finger. The struts do the heavy lifting and hold the steps steady in any position, making them simple to use for anyone. With a stable, ground-contact design and a 500 lb weight capacity, they feel solid underfoot and don’t bounce or flex when loaded.
Each leg adjusts independently in 1" increments, giving you a firm, wobble-free footing even on sloped or uneven ground. The steps fit entry heights between 31-1/2" and 37-1/2" and mount solidly in 23-3/4" to 24-1/4" wide doorways. When deployed, the 19-1/2" wide steps rest squarely on the ground, so you can step in and out confidently no matter the campsite surface.
The top step measures 10-5/8" deep for extra room when exiting, while each tread includes a textured surface and non-slip tread tape to reduce slips, even in wet weather. The solid feel and traction make it easier for kids, pets, or anyone with less balance to climb safely.
These steps combine a lightweight aluminum construction with a powder-coated steel frame that resists rust and corrosion. The materials hold up to years of use and exposure without bending or creaking, so you can count on them for smooth operation season after season.

The steps fit perfect. Instructions included installation for both mounting panels. However, my original had the larger panel, and the instructions for the smaller panel didn't really apply. I had to measure from the hinge line to make sure I put the stairs in the correct position. I am VERY pleased with my purchase.
I like that the step’s legs are easier to adjust for leveling with just a simple press on the lever and not fussing with the removable pin. I also like that I can easily remove them. I left the original fold down steps on. I’ve had occasions where I didn’t have room to deploy the solid steps. I removed them, set them aside and use the original steps to access my 5th wheel. I’ve since added the step covers and motion sensor step lights. Unfortunately I was unable to upload a picture.
Install took no more than 20 minutes with the new hinge design. With the little notches on both sides, alignment was very easy, and you’re able to screw the steps down and secure their location prior to the final screw down. Excellent way to get it properly situated easily. These second generation steps themselves are a great upgrade. The old units that had a pin you had to remove to adjust the length of the leg extension. It was always a problem. You had to pull the pin (not always easy while holding the steps) then estimate how far out the legs needed to be, then put the pin back in only to discover you were a notch off and do it again. This new one you just press the lever and the leg will drop to ground level. Seconds and you’re done. A huge improvement. And your pins on the old one were sticking out, so with my narrow doorway they would sometimes catch on the door edges when raising or lower the steps. Since there’s no more pins there’s nothing to catch. Everything is an improvement. I know this is solving a first world problem, but it has solved the irritation of the old. I’m glad I’ve installed it.

The steps are great! The installation instructions not so much. Thank goodness there were customer photos on the website that showed a customer installation having to cut a portion of the aluminum foundation away, which is what I had to do to make the screen door have enough clearance to close. I was able to talk with a etrailer rep who wouldn't tell me that was my solution for fear of liability issues, but hinted I may need to do it for door clearance. Too bad the installation instructions do not clearly offer this information if this situation occurs, and I'm sure it occurs with plenty of these older trailers that use the narrow folding steps. The steps are great, but etrailer help desk needs to understand the problem if they are going to help with the solution.
In the beginning I order the wrong size steps. My door opening is 27 3/4. I figured the 26 inch steps would work but they was too small to catch the lip on the door frame. Even tried to adjust the steps but they were still to small. I called and spoke with the team at etrailer and they was fantastic on helping me with my problem. They helped me pick the new set of steps and set up the return for the first set that I ordered wrong.
The new steps came in within 3 days. They are very sturdy and looks to be well built. The install was pretty simple. But I did have to cut part of the lip off of the door frame at the bottom 8 inches of the door on both sides. It was very tight and the steps would not fold down all the way. The instructions didn’t say anything about cutting the door jam. Once I had everything installed and folded out, I could walk up and down the steps very easily. I am a big guy 6’3 340 pounds. Not only did the steps support me, but it stabilized the camper from rocking when I stepped up in there. All, except cutting my door frame that I chose to do, went very good and feels like I will be happy with the purchase.

The old Step was damaged, and it took about 30 minutes to replace. Works like it should, and was a great price.
I am extremely satisfied with your product. They work well. However I am not sure they were packaged very well. I think UPS shipping was terrible with the handling of the package. The shipping box was in poor condition and the stairs had damage. The damage was mostly repairable and I needed them for a camping trip. They do work well. Thank you for letting me vent.
The stairs that came with our new to us travel trailer were unstable and I fell once due to the step width. The step above MORryde steps were a massive improvement. Easy to install and very stable. I would recommend these to anyone.
Steps are great. Nicole T did an excellent job tracking down the supplier order and finally getting to me. We all know supplies are a mess. I ordered steps on March 30, 2021. Back order after back order and reorder of different step never showed up from factory. etrailer stayed on it when I called each time. Nicole sent to me express no charge so I could make my trip on time! Please note: the box MORryde ships these steps in in is highly inadequate, I've seen others like mine, box all broke open, luckily no damage and all parts there. For this price and weigh go item, MORyde should really use a better box, inspect carefully upon receipt.
Excellent product. Despite the nightmare associated with the delivery and not having the steps in time for our trip, we are pleased with the steps. Not sure if we would purchase from you in the future due to the shipping and delivery snafus.
We love our step. It is much more stable than the one that came on the trailer. The dogs like it better as well. Glad that my husband is handy though as the install was a little more complicated than appeared to make it fit correctly. The only downside for me is making sure they are cleaned off well so a ton of dirt and sand(we stay at the beach alot) doesn't get dumped on the inside of the trailer every time you put them up. On the upside it created a space under the trailer where the old steps were that we had a custom box made for for extra storage of our hitch and jack blocks.
Very easy to install. Easy to lift but after halfway hang on to it or it will finish closing on its own.

Excellent stairs to replace the wobbly factory stairs. Simple install only complaint was missing 2 screws. I would definitely recommend these stairs

I ordered the same ones as I had due to damage so install was super easy. Only took about 15 minutes.
The stairs are excellent and were pretty straight forward to install. The packaging for shipment on the other hand was horrible! The box arrived very abused with holes in it and the metal shims for the stairs flying around in the box. a corner of the stairs were bent and scratched up in places. Additionally it was missing an entire package of screws which I'm sure fell out one of the holes in the box. The foam inserts are completely inadequate and entirely useless. Imagine these heavy stairs just in a cardboard box sliding side to side with zero protection from other cargo or the parts included with the stairs!! I didn't send back because I needed the stairs and didn't want to deal with shipping them back and waiting for a new set.
The steps work fine, they were a little bent out of the box but I'm sure it happened during shipping. Easy installation. Thank you etrailer!! Kelly you rock!!
Completed the step install today. etrailer offers any great RV products and the MORryde assist steps are great. I've purchased other MORryde products from you before and have always been pleased with your service. I have to say that the quality of the manufacturers packaging is terrible. Parts were loose and the assist frame required some straightening before I could install it.
I haven't been able to install the MaxAir exhaust fan, but will do so in a week or so.
Very crappy packing job was in tire boxes taped together the Legs were hanging out and bent. The mounts wher it attached camper were bent. I didn’t bother sending it back for fear of getting worse I fixed all the bent brackets and it’s fine. But I will never shop online with etraiiler again. NEVER.
