Nice steps, took a lot of modification to make them work including slight recessing of the footplates on the floorboard and shortening my screen door to close properly on my 2018 flagstaff super lite

Ordered these stairs so I can have time to install before our next camping trip. Stairs came in about a week later which was excepted. UPs delivered the Box damaged. As the UPS guy is walking up my driveway he putting parts back in. We noted the package was damaged. As we gets to the back of his truck he runs back with another part that fell out. Needless to say parts are missing. No instructions, stairs were scratched and of coarse missing parts. Called your customer service and sent pictures. After all of this, I’m only offered a $xx discount if I wanted to keep this order. Not the friendliest customer service person either. I get it, things happen but to only be offered $xx after I emailed you several pictures with proof of damages. I could have used the stairs and lived with the scrapes of it was worth my trouble. Now I have to wait another week to receive my replacement. First and last time ordering from etrailer.

Side rails are not near as heavy as my old ones of same exact style. Went from 1.75" width to 1.25" and no wrap around construction. Material is a fraction of the gauge steel as well.
Packaging that it came in, is to say the least, poor! There is no way any shipper will not somehow damage this product in transit!! Bent ends, hinge frame bent out of alignment, although was able to bend back enough to use.

For what I paid for this replacement product, construction and packaging are not to most peoples standards.

I removed the 4 carriage bolt nuts and washers that held the original steps on; I simply removed the bolts from one side then lowered the steps until the other side came loose from the frame. I removed the threshold and positioned these steps in place and leveled them using the adjustable legs; once they were centered, I closed the main door to verify fitment. Using an impact, I drove 2 screws into the flooring at the exposed hole area on either side. I raised the stairs up, verified the door closed and locked them in place, then I ran the remainder of the screws in. The outer pieces that lock the stairs in place are adjustable, so I made them slightly snugger and lined up with my frame. I had this install complete in 15 minutes! They feel 1000x better than the original!

I just installed this in my 2026 Promaster 3500. I only had 24" opening and this fit nicely. I had to do a slight mod to the back edge so it fit the contor of the sliding door's opening at the bottom, so now i have a perfect fit. Its a very solid set of stairs well worth the $$.

In the beginning I order the wrong size steps. My door opening is 27 3/4. I figured the 26 inch steps would work but they was too small to catch the lip on the door frame. Even tried to adjust the steps but they were still to small. I called and spoke with the team at etrailer and they was fantastic on helping me with my problem. They helped me pick the new set of steps and set up the return for the first set that I ordered wrong.
The new steps came in within 3 days. They are very sturdy and looks to be well built. The install was pretty simple. But I did have to cut part of the lip off of the door frame at the bottom 8 inches of the door on both sides. It was very tight and the steps would not fold down all the way. The instructions didn’t say anything about cutting the door jam. Once I had everything installed and folded out, I could walk up and down the steps very easily. I am a big guy 6’3 340 pounds. Not only did the steps support me, but it stabilized the camper from rocking when I stepped up in there. All, except cutting my door frame that I chose to do, went very good and feels like I will be happy with the purchase.

The steps are great! The installation instructions not so much. Thank goodness there were customer photos on the website that showed a customer installation having to cut a portion of the aluminum foundation away, which is what I had to do to make the screen door have enough clearance to close. I was able to talk with a etrailer rep who wouldn't tell me that was my solution for fear of liability issues, but hinted I may need to do it for door clearance. Too bad the installation instructions do not clearly offer this information if this situation occurs, and I'm sure it occurs with plenty of these older trailers that use the narrow folding steps. The steps are great, but etrailer help desk needs to understand the problem if they are going to help with the solution.

Easy order and fast shipping. Install was pretty easy but screws missing (found under flap in box later on) and small dent in lower step. Otherwise it’s 5 stars. Very solid. No review from the dog yet.

Stairs fit but did not work over our threshold. The doors would not close when they are down. Had to cut out the threshold and install stairs directly to the floor, but only after trying to modify door bottom. Lot more work than anticipated but stairs seem to function well now

Quality of the steps is great. Really liked the fitment. Easy install. Customer service outstanding Joey T. Answered my questions & got parts shipped rite out. I ordered steps & the bolt on hand rail. Nothing wrong with hand rail but for my application i decided NOT to install it. The hand rail limits capability of loading easily. I wish i would have ordered steps years ago!! Works great.

Install took no more than 20 minutes with the new hinge design. With the little notches on both sides, alignment was very easy, and you’re able to screw the steps down and secure their location prior to the final screw down. Excellent way to get it properly situated easily. These second generation steps themselves are a great upgrade. The old units that had a pin you had to remove to adjust the length of the leg extension. It was always a problem. You had to pull the pin (not always easy while holding the steps) then estimate how far out the legs needed to be, then put the pin back in only to discover you were a notch off and do it again. This new one you just press the lever and the leg will drop to ground level. Seconds and you’re done. A huge improvement. And your pins on the old one were sticking out, so with my narrow doorway they would sometimes catch on the door edges when raising or lower the steps. Since there’s no more pins there’s nothing to catch. Everything is an improvement. I know this is solving a first world problem, but it has solved the irritation of the old. I’m glad I’ve installed it.

Hey Bill! Are you referring to the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs # LC432687? These are designed for a 24-1/2" - 27-1/2" entry height and are 25-3/4" wide with a 27-1/2" wide mounting bracket. Is there a specific reason you want to replace the existing steps on your NB19.2? It looks like it came with the MORryde StepAbove steps that flip up into the door which I really like. I'm sorry to say that adding the strut assist to your existing steps is not something that is possible. They use different hinges so the only option is to replace them completely. We currently have a 3-step and 4-step option with the strut assist, but you'll want to first level your trailer and measure from the ground to the top of the bottom door threshold for the entry height. The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps - 3 Steps # MR65RR fits an entry height of 31-1/2" - 37-1/2" and the 4-step # MR85RR will fit an entry height of 36-1/2" - 42-1/2".

The MORryde StepAbove RV Step part # MR65RR is the same as the STP-210 which is the newest generation. It is designed for a 31-1/2" - 37-1/2" entry height and 27-3/4" - 28-1/4" doorway width. It's a strut assisted model. If you have different measurements please let me know what those are so we can get the correct step or choose from the list below. There is no aftermarket step assist kit for MORryde StepAbove steps. MORryde does offer some StepAbove options that have a strut assist option: - # MR85RR - # MR75RR - # MR65RR - # MR45RR Unfortunately, this is not available as an add on. Your only way to add the strut assist would be to replace your steps with a model from above that includes it.

Correct MORryde StepAbove With Strut Assist for 2021 Jayco White Hawk
The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps with Strut Assist # MR65RR are the correct fit for your 2021 Jayco White Hawk. The important measurements were the entry height and the doorway width. Since this works with a 31-1/2" - 37-1/2" entry height and a 27-3/4" - 28-1/4" entry height it is the right choice. The only other measurements are the threshold but since you already have the regular StepAbove steps we already know these will fit.

Hey Jim, while we don't have any composite RV steps at this time we do have fold down steps that have lift assist built into them like with the MORryde StepAbove part # MR65RR. The trick to picking out the correct StepAbove is based on doorway width and threshold height. For example, this step fits doorways that are between 27-3/4" to 28-1/4" and has a height range of 31-1/2" - 37-1/2" so if that is what you have these would work for you. Fold-Down Steps for 2013 Winnebago One
Based on your measurements the # MR78RR would be the correct option from MORryde. We also have the strut assist version available which is # MR65RR. The doors may not close properly if the threshold is outside of the 5/8" - 3/4" range so you might need to add some extra material to the threshold to use either of these. We do have steps with an 8" rise that will fit your doorway width of 28" and entry height of 34". The Lippert SolidStep RV Steps # LC791572. The steps aren't quite as wide...
