The built-in gas struts take care of the heavy lifting so you can raise or lower the steps with just one finger. This strut-assist system supports the steps smoothly in any position and even holds them in place when stowed. It’s especially handy if you’re managing mobility or just tired of wrestling heavy stairs.
Each leg adjusts independently in 1" increments for a total of 13", giving you full ground contact even when parked on uneven surfaces. The steps don’t flex or bounce—they hold steady with a 500 lb capacity. The design completely removes that springboard effect you get from hanging steps, making entry and exit feel natural and secure.
Every tread gives solid traction, thanks to a textured surface and non-slip tread tape. The 10-5/8" deep top step offers more space for your foot when stepping out, and each tread measures 23-1/2" wide x 8" deep for confident footing. Even in wet conditions, the grip is dependable so you can step in or out without worry.
The aluminum steps and powder-coated steel frame resist rust and corrosion, keeping them in great shape through years of travel. When folded up for travel, they latch securely behind the door and stay protected from the elements. Large holes in the backplate make it easy to sweep off dirt before storing so you don’t track debris inside.
With an 8" rise between each of the four steps, these feel like walking up a regular staircase instead of a steep ladder. They fit doorway widths from 27-3/4" to 28-1/4" and fold into a compact 12-5/16" depth inside. It’s a sturdy, easy-to-operate step system that makes every entry smoother and safer.
