Replacement Steps for 2026 No Boundaries NB19.2

Updated 12/03/2025 | Published 11/30/2025

Question:

Hi: I have a ‘26 No Bo 19.2. I’m looking to replace the steps. The original steps use a faceplate that is screwed to the floor. I don’t believe a side frame mount will work. I was looking at the Lippert 3 step you have on sale for $227. Do you have recommendations? Thx, Bill

Hey Bill! Are you referring to the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs # LC432687? These are designed for a 24-1/2" - 27-1/2" entry height and are 25-3/4" wide with a 27-1/2" wide mounting bracket. Is there a specific reason you want to replace the existing steps on your NB19.2?

It looks like it came with the MORryde StepAbove steps that flip up into the door which I really like. You're going to have a loss of clearance with the Lippert steps and they aren't as solid. I have some pull out steps on the rear door of my trailer and the MORryde on the main entry door and definitely prefer the MORryde. You can install the Lippert if you want but personally I think you will be happier with what you have now.

If you find that the MORryde is difficult to fold down and back up I recommend switching to the strut assist model of the same steps. It looks like those are the 3 step so you could use the # MR45RR for 23-3/4" to 24-1/4" wide doorways or # MR65RR for 27-3/4" to 28-1/4" wide doorways.

Hi, thank you for your detailed response. I’ve reviewed your info, and have decided to keep the original steps. The reason I was thinking of replacing them with something that folds up under the trailer frame, is the steps that fold up into the doorway, drop water and dirt onto the trailer floor. With the water, I was concerned it would work its way under the stair door plate and cause damage to the sub floor and linoleum under the door plate. I think applying a sealing caulk will take care of any potential issues. Thanks, Bill

@BillB good idea, that will definitely take care of it and you can keep using the better steps.
