OEM hand rail laid over door handle and I couldn’t install an electronic door lock. This solved the problem except I had to use both upper frame parts to cover the holes left by the OEM hand rail.

That’s a clever solution, nice work figuring that out. Sounds like that OEM handrail was getting in the way more than helping, especially with adding the electronic lock. Using both upper frame pieces to clean up those old mounting holes is a great call, it looks better and keeps everything sealed up. Glad to hear this one solved the problem for you. What kind of RV are you running it on?

I watched a video from morryde for my rv and it recommended this handrail. So I ordered it and drilled my holes and come to find out it was too short. I know it was my fault for not checking before I drilled but I got what they recommended. Steps are great

This is pretty good build quality. There are a few sharp edges in non-functional areas. The mounting brackets are a little bit confusing too as the top bracket has two options and our independent of the main mounting bracket.

Seems great do far. Allowed us to take full advantage of our new electronic door locking system and functions much better than the OEM stair rail.

i like the rail the instructions that came with it are very bad made no sense .. lucky there are some videos out there that helped and it went flawless after that i will be using it this weekend and give it a real test
