Question:
We have two 3-step units on our Rockwood 2608BS with the steps about 9-10inch apart. Is there a modification kit to add a step and re-space them closer together? Its really hard for us old people to climb in and out on these stairs. If not, can I buy a couple steps like replacement parts and modify them myself?

After doing some research I was unable to find a way to safely modify your MORryde StepAbove RV Steps with Strut Assist - 23-3/4" to 24-1/4" Wide Doorways - 3 Steps # MR45RR. We do have the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps with Strut Assist - 23-3/4" to 24-1/4" Wide Doorways - 4 Steps # MR75RR which would change the steps to 8" apart. The thing you would want to watch with the 4 step would be ground clearance. The 3 step is a threshold-to-ground height between 31-1/2" and 37-1/2" and the 4 step is a threshold-to-ground height between 36-1/2" and 42-1/2".
