Availability of a MORryde StepAbove Latching Mechanism For Steps With Single Left Side Latch

Was wondering if the locking mechanism was available to purchase? I have the steps already with the single lock mechanism on the left side.

Currently MORryde only offers the Step Latch # MR97BR for their steps. This latch is an add on for their Strut Assist Steps # MR45RR since they do not come with a latch from the factory. The latch mechanism on the Steps # MR98RR you found is not available as an option.

The latch that you have on your current StepAbove could need to be adjusted so that it secures it tighter to your doorway. I attached a picture that I took from the instructions that shows how to make the adjustment. Try that and the movement should…

The Removable Mounting Plate for MORryde StepAbove RV Steps part #MR92AR is not compatible with strut assist. If you have a model with strut assist you'll need to remove the assembly before you can install the mounting plate.
