Hi There, Is the mounting bracket and steps designed to remain attached to the camper while driving? Or is it recommended to remove the steps prior to driving? Thank you for your assistance.

Steps like the Scissor Steps # SS03 come with a bracket that gets permanently mounted to the camper, but the steps themselves get removed while traveling.
