These steel scissor steps expand from 18" to 23" tall, making it easy to climb in and out with confidence. The self-adjusting design keeps both feet flat even on uneven ground, so the steps stay steady instead of rocking. Each step measures 17" wide x 6-1/8" deep with an 8" rise, giving you a secure, natural feel as you climb.
Each tread has a diamond pattern pressed into the steel for extra traction, helping prevent slips when it’s wet or muddy. The rugged powder-coated finish helps resist corrosion and wear, so the steps stay solid and look good through years of use. With a 275 lb weight capacity, they feel strong and steady underfoot.
The scissor mechanism lets you pull the steps out when you need them and fold them up when you’re done. They retract to a compact size for easy storage and quickly clip into the included mounting bracket for use. It’s a straightforward way to add sturdy steps that come off clean before travel.
The 18-1/4" wide steel mounting bracket installs with the included (4) 1/4" x 1-1/2" screws. Once in place, the stairs hook into the “V” clamps and are ready to use. The whole setup takes little time and gives you a reliable connection that won’t shift or wiggle when you step on it.

I was a bit skeptical the steps would be somewhat flimsy and maybe a little scary to use ( I'm a heavier than I should be guy)..but I am very pleased with how well they work and stable they are. Add that to the fact that etrailer has had everything I've ordered in stock and to my door almost unbelievably quickly... I'm a very satisfied customer.

We love this product. Super easy to install and where we go with our trailer if the steps didn't come off we would most likely tear them off. They fold right up and we just put in the back of the truck.

Great idea for keeping the steps on the rear of my toyhauler out from under the camper where they have been dragged numerous times on odd driveway turns. These are basic steps, easy to hang, and then remove and stow before getting underway.
I built an extension on my truck camper & these steps work great.
I originally ordered the 3 step scissor steps but they were too high for my camper. I called Helen at etrailer and explained the problem.
She advised they had the 2 step system in stock. She placed and filled my order the same day (on a Saturday)! And gave me a super simple way to return the 3step system — also on the same day!
I am very pleased with the excellent level of service I received from etrailer. Prompt and courteous at every step of the way!!
This is exactly what we need at the back of our food truck. We used to have a metal chair that I fell on ass off of it once. Never again!

This folding stair unit mounted easily, is incredibly strong and the perfect addition to my trailer, allowing easy access to my boat when not in the water. (It's a mini houseboat and doubles as a camper trailer.)

Both items are working quite well on this "non-standard" installation.

We installed our steps today, they were easy to install, look good, and are sturdy.
The problem we found there is a 6 inch gap between the steps and the camper. Our
10 yr. old granddaughter, immediately fell into that gap. (See attached pictures) we
are going to create a transition between steps and camper. This should fix the problem.

These stairs have been a great addition to our home built camper. Super easy to install and like how the allow for a bit of change in height depending on where you’re camped.
Dinged them one star because they aren’t the most grippy. I slipped multiple times on them when in socks. Nice since added some cheap grip tape to the tread and have no more issues.

The steps are perfect for assisting with entry into our natural pond with shallow banks. They make it so much easier to enter/exit without stepping in the mud! Also, boarding the raft & paddleboard are much easier standing in the water on the lower step and then climbing in.
