When you’re cruising down the highway with gear on the roof, wind noise can make the ride less enjoyable. The JetStream aluminum crossbars are built with an aerodynamic shape that helps reduce that noise and vibration. The push-down rubber strips in the top channels close up around your mounts to keep airflow smooth and quiet while you drive.
Some racks make you cut rubber inserts before installing accessories. This design skips that step entirely. The push-down rubber strips let you press your carrier hardware straight into the channels without trimming, so setup is faster and cleaner. The strips then close back around the mounts to help block out wind and water for a neat, finished look.
Whether it's a cargo box for a road trip or a kayak cradle for the weekend, this roof rack is ready to haul it. The aero-style crossbars work with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers that mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars. With a 165 lb weight capacity, there’s plenty of strength for the gear you need on your next outing.
The aluminum build gives these crossbars solid support while keeping overall weight low. Each bar measures 60" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall, offering reliable space for your favorite attachments without flex or wobble under load. The black finish looks clean and durable, backed by a limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
The system includes two JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit designed for a snug connection on your vehicle’s naked roof. For added security, Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores are sold separately—so you can lock up your rack and leave it knowing your gear stays put until you’re ready to roll again.

2-years into owning my system: I have had the rack on the vehicle for 2-years and never removed it. Every 3-4 months i check the performance of the base clips and they have never come lose. I think best practice is to always check the stability of the rack however i have never had a problem and the system has always stayed tight and firm. Its been a great system for the vehicle.
