Loctite Lubricants Sealants Adhesives - LT37616

  • Anti-Seize Sealant
  • Sealant
  • 0.7 oz
  • Loctite

This anti-seize stick keeps threaded parts from corroding, seizing and sticking, allowing them to be disassembled easily. Paste-like formula in convenient stick applicator is easy to apply and avoids mess.

  • Protects threaded parts from corrosion and seizing
  • Tolerates high-temperature applications
  • Waxy formula avoids mess
    • Won't leak in toolboxes or pockets
    • Doesn't drip when used overhead
  • Made in the USA

  • Quantity: 0.7-oz stick (20 g)
  • Maximum temperature tolerance: 1,800 F

Applications: Spark plug threads (especially in aluminum heads, which can strip easily), exhaust manifold bolts, engine bolts, thermostat housing bolts, oxygen sensors and battery cable connections

Anti-seize is applied as a paste before assembly to the threads of screws, nuts, bolts, spark plugs and exhaust sensors, which are exposed to high temperatures or chemical corrosion and, consequently, are likely to corrode and seize. By preventing corrosion, anti-seize allows for easy removal of treated parts. Specially designed to protect parts in high-temperature environments such as automobile exhaust systems.

this is one product that are shop likes. its a heck of a lot less messy than traditional anti seize. works well and does not get greasy on everything

- LT37616

This stuff is great, gets everywhere like any other anti-seize.

- LT37616

Received as described. I'm not sure if it should have the consistency of toothpaste as you twist it out of it's tube ? l left tube overnight in a cold garage before use and it was fairly hard. I just rubbed it into the threads. I can't tell you how it works as I never plan to take the ball off the mount. Just bought as insurance.

  • Anti-seize Product Recommendation to Install a Trailer Hitch on a 2007 Honda Fit Sport
For Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24776 for your 2007 Honda Fit Sport there isn't a specific recommendation for anti-seize products for the installation hardware. Loctite # LT37616 would work fine. But if you are talking about thread locker then there is just one thing to consider: how difficult do you want it to be to remove the hardware? If you use blue Loctite # LT37643 then the hardware can still be removed using hand tools. But if you use red Loctite # LT37420 then power tools would have...

  • Trouble Removing The Locking Nut On The Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier
In regards to the Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part # Y02098, you will first want to make sure that the lock core is in the unlocked position. If you can't get the lock core in the unlocked position then please let me know as this is a separate issue. In order to remove the locking nut on the ForkLift you will first want to spray it down with some lubricant and let it sit for around an hour or so. After the lubricant has had time to soak into the threads you can try to give...

  • How Do Aries Automotive AA204009 Round Nerf Bars Attach to 2005 Chevy Silverado
The Aries # AA204009 Round Nerf Bars attach to the vehicle using the existing body mount bolts and brackets that are included with the bars. All the necessary installation hardware is provided. On that model year, be aware that GM used a very strong thread locker on those body mount bolts so using air tools isn't recommended and can damage the bolts or the internal nut assembly. Hand tools are recommended. When the bolt is reinstalled, it's recommended that you use some anti-seize on the...

  • Bike Stuck In Yakima Forklift By Skewer Bolt
The "Skewer Bolt" runs through the Yamika mount on both sides as well as the bike forks. If you are having difficulty unscrewing the skewer, first keep in mind that this is a reverse thread that requires that you unscrew it in the opposite direction. Finally applying some penatrating oil to help lossen the bolt if it is seized. The next time you are putting the skewer bolt back in I would suggest a dab of anti seize lube # LT37616

  • Installing BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Ratcheting Bow Tie-Down Strap on Trailer
The BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Ratcheting Bow Tie-Down Strap # IMF14220 that you referenced is primarily designed to install by drilling right into the trailer frame or crossmember like what you saw in the video. You would just use the included bolt and nut to secure it into place. This is definitely what I recommend doing as it offers a much simpler setup without the potential for various other pieces/brackets to become damaged or worn over time. When installing the ratchet in this manner...

  • Recommended Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for Towing 4000lb Travel Trailer
We have exactly what you're looking for, the # 63232. The anti-rattle lock is compatible with hollow-shank ball mounts or hitch accessories. It can be used for towing. The receiver tube of your hitch can't be more than 2-5/8 inches. If it is, use # SHP2040-XL. The manufacturer recommends using an anti-seize compound like # LT37616 on the threads of the lock before use.

  • Will XL Anti-Rattle Locking Hitch Pin Work on a 2 Inch Hitch?
The # SHP2040-XL can be used on a 2" hitch; in fact the linked demonstration video shows it being used in a 2" hitch though it should be noted that it has an overall length of 6-3/4" and an inside pin length nearly 1 inch longer than the # 63232 so it will stick out on the side of your hitch like in the attached photo. It is also recommended you use Loctite Anti-Seize Stick # LT37616 to lubricate the threads before use. I have added a pair of reviews on this hitch lock for you to take...

Yes, the 6' BoatBuckle Mini G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Transom Tie-Downs # IMF106877 will work with your boat trailer with 17" from the mounting hole to the stern eye on your trailer. The strap will have a minimum distance of approximately 8" . I would recommend going with the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Tie-Down # IMF14393 as it is constructed of stainless steel. Since this will be bolted to your stern and constantly submerged in water it will hold up better over time. The...

  • Recommended High Capacity Roof Rack for Camper Shell on 2002 Toyota Tacoma
After looking at several possibilities, I found the TracRac truck camper shell ladder rack part # TH29200XT. This rack has a capacity equal to that of the camper shell. I've confirmed the weight capacity with my TracRack representative, who confirms that if your camper shell has a 500 lb capacity, the rack will as well. The rack uses stainless steel hardware, it's recommended that you use anti-seize compound, part # LT37616 on the threads of the hardware.

  • Can TracRac Ladder Rack Load Stops Be Removed As Needed?
Yes. The TracRac TracVan ES Van Ladder Rack - 2 Bar - 500 lbs # TH29611XT, can have the load stops removed as needed. You will however need to remove the end caps to remove them. I recommend using the Loctite Anti-Seize Stick # LT37616 if you will be removing and using them often.

I do have a solution for you to use a ladder rack with your camper shell installed, but the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07706 is not compatible with a camper shell. The ladder rack that I recommend for your application is the TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack for Camper Shell/Truck Cap # TH29200XT. • Locking Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin that Stays Tight and Wont Strip Out
Personally, I like the SlientACT # SHP2082 because it does thread in but then you use the cam lever to quickly tighten or loosen it. I have linked a video review of it for you. Or another option I think you will like is the Pro Series lock and anti-rattle device # PS63100. This one uses a longer block so that it cannot turn when inside of the shank rather than relying on a spring for retention. I have linked a video of this one as well. For either of these options I recommend used Loctite...

  • Transom Tie-Down Straps for Boat That Weighs 2,500 lbs
For your 2,500 lb boat I recommend using BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Transom Tie-Down Straps # IMF08893 which each have a break strength of 2,500 lbs and will work since they are not going to be handling the full load of your boat at all times. These are 2" wide x 43" long straps so be sure that's the correct length for your boat and trailer; for a longer length you can use the 6' BoatBuckle Transom Tie-Downs # IMF14208. You will also need guanwale tie-down straps and I recommend...

The Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 will only fit a 1-1/4" or 2" receiver directly. You can use a Brophy Hitch Reducer and Extender # HR26 that will allow for the stinger to fit on your vehicle. The Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp # C87UR will take the rattle out of the extender and allow for the entire bike rack to be solid as it has its own built in anti-rattle for the 2" or 1-1/4" receivers....
