For your 2005 Silverado Extended Cab I recommend using the Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Silver # TH27000XT along with the Toolbox Mount Kit for Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Racks # TH41000. If you want the over the cab cantilever then I instead recommend the Thule T-Rac Pro2 Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever # TH37002XT-EX which comes with the toolbox mount brackets.
Then you can use the DeeZee Blue Label Truck Bed Toolbox - Crossover Style - Aluminum - 12.8 Cu Ft - Silver # DZ9170, the DeeZee Red Label Truck Bed Toolbox - Deep, Crossover Style - Aluminum - 12 Cu Ft - Silver # DZ8170D, or the UWS Deep Angled Truck Bed Toolbox - Crossover Style - Low Profile - 10 cu ft - Bright Aluminum # UWS07680 for a deep toolbox that is compatible.
