Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

by:

The hitch eeceiver I bought is perfect for my RV. What I was even more impressed with was the updates etrailer.com sent as my order processed and shipped. Each step of the way I was updated by employees who accompanied the update with their photos. Very personalized experience. Thank you etrailers.com!

Package arrived on time-there was a good deal of dust in the package but that doesn’t hurt anything-the hitch and pieces are heavy duty.

by:

Curt Class V receiver received complete and as advertised. Now, to get it installed by welder/ installer on '03 Newmar Dutch Star.

by:

Worked great for my custom application. Placed behind my custom bumper as a hidden hitch.

by:

Well made hitch, very adjustable, and easy to install. No problems towing my 30' cabin cruiser with my new-to-me Semi-tractor. Exactly what I was looking for.

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For A Foreign Model 2020 Ford Ranger FX4
Hi Drew, The Curt # C97JR you were looking at is designed to fit select model Jeep Grand Cherokee L's and would not be a fit for your 2020 Ford Ranger. All of the custom-fit hitches we currently offer are designed for US models so you'd have to go with an adjustable-fit weld-on trailer hitch instead. These will come with a drop so you'll want to measure from the frame down to make sure the receiver tube will clear the bumper. Draw-Tite 7" Drop # 41990-07 16" Drop # 41990-16 Curt 3"...

  • Availability of a Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 1961 International C-120 Travelall SUV
Although we don't have a custom fit trailer hitch for your 1961 International C-120 Travelall, doesn't mean it can't be done. I recommend having a certified welder weld a hitch receiver like such as part # 15901. It's a universal hitch usually designed for service or utility body trucks. But you can align the hitch body with the adjustable side brackets to match the width of your 1961 International C-120 Travelall. I included a link to all of the specialty trailer hitches we currently...

  • Class-5 Adjustable Width Hitch for 2012 Ford E450 Cab & Chassis Cutaway
There are not custom bolt on hitches for this application. The variables in frame widths and custom RV bodies makes it impossible to make a hitch for each RV model. In these cases you have to use a Universal Weld-On hitch. The Curt # 15901 is one such universal hitch which is rated for Class-5 with 15,000 pounds towing capacity and 1500 pounds of tongue weight. The side brackets adjust for frames measuring 18 to 44 inches wide. Please review the attached installation instructions carefully...

  • Front Mount Hitch Receiver for a 2018 Chevy Express Van
For your application I recommend checking out a universal hitch receiver like the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets with 3" Drop # 15901 as there aren't any custom fit front hitches for your 2018 Chevy Express Van. Since this is universal you'll basically be comparing this hitch to the available room on your vehicle and making sure everything matches up on your end. I'm attaching a dimensional photo of this Curt hitch for you to reference and use for checking the fitment.

  • 2010 Ford E450 Based Motorhome Yellowstone GulfStream Class V Hitch
I've spoken to Curt on your behalf and there is no bolt on hitch for your 2010 E450, but you can use the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets with 3" Drop # 15901. You will need to weld it on to your frame. This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight of 15,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 1,500 lbs. It has a 3 inch drop which you may want more. Here is the same hitch but it has almost a 11 inch drop # 15902. To make sure that your racecar trailer will not exceed...

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver 75129 should fit with any OEM parts but just to be used I went out to the warehouse and measured the hitch. From the back of the crossmember tube to the center of the first bolt hole is 1". The distance between the inside of both mounting ears is 30-1/4". This hitch should sit directly under your frame rails so you can use that 1" measurement to see if the tube will run into interference with your gas tank shield. If this doesn't work then...

  • Trailer Hitch Option For Shuttle 2011 Chevy Express Shuttle Bus
For a shuttle bus like your 2011 Chevy Express, you'll need a universal hitch that will be welded onto your frame. You will want to measure your frame though, as it will need to be no longer than 44 inches from outside to outside. So long as you have that, you can use one of the following, depending on how tall you need the brackets to be: - 3" Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # 15901 - 9" Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C47CR

The side mounting plates on the Buyers Products Hitch Plate # 3371809060A are spaced apart by 34-1/4 inches, inside to inside. This is likely a bit too large for the 33 inch wide frame on your vehicle. Your best option may simply be with a weld-on hitch like the Curt Class V # 15901, which will work on frames that are between 18 and 44 inches wide. This unit features a 2 inch receiver opening and a 15,000 pound towing weight capacity. It is assembled right here in the USA and the mounting...

For your truck, you'd need a multi fit hitch for heavy duty trucks as none of our vendors offer a custom made fit. In order to choose the correct one, you'll need to know the needed drop, height difference between the rear bumper and the underside of the Tommy Lift. • Trailer Hitch Rated for 10,000 Pounds for a Motorhome
In order to get to a 10,000 pound capacity you will need to look at heavy duty truck hitches since none of the RV hitches are rated that high. For example you could potentially use # 41990-16 which is rated for 16,000 pounds and comes with 16 inch tall brackets. There is another version with 7 inch tall brackets, # 41990-07. However, these hitches would need to be welded on by a professional welder. We also have Curt hitch # 15902 with a 10-7/8 inch drop or # 15901 with a 3 inch drop....

I can certainly help you with the parts you will need to add a 3-receiver hitch to your 2007 Ford F-150. First, a custom fit trailer hitch will not work for this application. What I recommend is a raw steel weld-on hitch such as # 15901. Then you could weld on a couple of receivers # E-9 to create a 3-receiver hitch. All welding should be performed by a qualified professional welder. After welding I recommend painting the hitch because the raw steel can rust.
