Question:

I need to know the measurement of the inside to inside of the mounting plate . The vehicle i am working on has a frame that measures 33 inches outside to outside.

The side mounting plates on the Buyers Products Hitch Plate # 3371809060A are spaced apart by 34-1/4 inches, inside to inside. This is likely a bit too large for the 33 inch wide frame on your vehicle.

Your best option may simply be with a weld-on hitch like the Curt Class V # 15901, which will work on frames that are between 18 and 44 inches wide. This unit features a 2 inch receiver opening and a 15,000 pound towing weight capacity. It is assembled right here in the USA and the mounting brackets are included.
