I put this hitch on my 2017 Winnebago Vista (Base 2017 Ford F-53), I needed to update the default hitch that was only 5000lbs to flat tow my truck which was just over weight at 5600lbs and yes I double checked the max the winnie can pull which is 7500lbs. So now I have more than I need to pull the weight. As some of you may know, looking for an affordable hitch for something that is custom is difficult. I did look into the universal weld-on but that would not work either as there is a bracket that was in the way to hold the generator. I was not looking to cut and weld. This bolt-on fits great and looks good. The receiver sits just under the original location by 2 inches.

Wished I'd had this item earlier. When I purchased my Blu Ox system the local RV dealership did not carry a similar item. So, etrailer is a life saver for useful products to the outdoor community. The product seems great, but it is the service I found incredible. One of the locks seemed to be bent iside and sometimes it stuck and sometimes it would not latch properly. I was not going to use a defective item to hold onto a new Jeep and called etrailer to see if it could be made right easily. At first they tried to see if they had one in stock that could be used as a replacement, but with the same key since all 4 are keyed the same. No luck, so etrailer called me back and they had contacted Blue Ox to have a replacement with a matching lock shipped directly to me. It showed up Fedex only a few days later. Not too often one finds service like this. Since they I have ordered more items. And will continue to do so.

Performing fine. The tow car has not detached once using these locks, Isnt that the best measure? Occasionally squirt a bit of lubricant in lick mechanism

Thanks for the very professional follow-up on the Blue Ox products I bought. In the end, I only used the set-up for about 3,000 miles before I changed my rig from a Class C towing a Jeep Wrangler using the Blue Ox parts to a Jeep Grand Cherokee towing an Airstream. Everything worked just fine for those 3,000 miles and all the parts have been sold on, practically as new, on [on-line].

My order was filled, shipped and received very quickly. It actually arrived a day before scheduled. All items look great.

As advertised. These locks fit perfectly. Be aware that the key must be in the lock and turned to install. The key stays in unlocked position, and must be turned to locked position to remove key. This is probably best way, since once the key is out you know it's installed correctly, since key won't turn unless all the way on or off.

Great product that provides assurance your toad stays attached! It takes a bit longer to attach due to the locking/unlocking however these pins will not accidently loose a cotter pin and come out. Well worth the small inconvenience.

This set is great for securing the tow bar to the base plate tabs as well as the tow bar and high-low adapter to the hitch all with one key. Convenient!

After one season of use, the larger pin locking mechanism hangs up and cannot be trusted despite keeping it clean and lubed. Will be using the second one this winter with hopes it offers better service life.

I really like these - especially the fact that they are all keyed the same. Although you get a total of 8 keys (2 for each lock), they are all the same - any key will open all the locks.

I dinged it to 4 starts because 1 of the locks was stiff and hard to turn. As an example of their excellent customer support, etrailer accepted the return (postage paid) and offered to replace them at no charge.

I could have looked for these locks at every store in town and not found them anywhere, wasting a bunch of gas. etrailer has the best inventory on trailer and hitch items I have ever seen. They were able to 2nd day ship them to me (for a price of course) and I had them in my possession before we left on vacation. KUDOS to etrailer. AND the locks worked perfectly for what I had come up with to secure my Hi-Lift jack to my jeep.

Only gave it four because the covers are hard to get on and off. When you pull it off the whole cover comes off. One more thing I don't like they are all keyed the same but you have to use the key to put on and off the lock should be made so the lock when you put them on and not have to be turned to lock. Beside this the work great they just need to be improved That is why only four

I love that these are heavy duty, stainless, and keyed alike. They will add a lot of security to my tow set up. My only regret is that I wish I had gotten the five (5) pack so if I ever put anything in my towed vehicle hitch, it would match also. They were easy to find and order, and shipped as promised.

Not happy. Ordered the four locks so I could have matching keys. Guess what? The keys are the same match for the three locks that be came with the blue ox setup. Wasted $$ on four when all I needed was one. Wish I had known. Not happy and not sure why they fit 2 different sets of locks

    The Blue Ox # BX88177 consists of two 1/2 inch diameter and 2 5/8 inch diameter pins. They are only able to have the 4 keyed alike. The measurement is 4-3/8 inches between the opening like # BX88212 which cannot be keyed alike .
