Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen 00:00:01 here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Goal Zero Power Pack 36. This is going to be able to charge up your phone, your tablet, or a small USB powered device and helping to extend that battery out so you're never caught unawares with your phone dead, your camera dead or any other small accessory. It's going to be one of these little guys. It does come in a couple of different colors, so I've got the black and blue here, but it is also available in a green as well. It's going to be the same size.
I just wanted to put a little graphic up there so you could see the different color so you have some options as far as getting it matched up with your favorite color scheme. They all work the same way though. It's going to allow you to charge your phone up to three times, your tablet about once since those typically take more power, your small personal cameras like a GoPro or something like that should be able to charge about five times. So it's going to give you a lot of power. The output here is a 2.1 amp charger, so that's typically your fast charger, so it should be able to charge things up pretty quickly. And then for the input, it's going to be the same thing.
So 2.1 amps that come in. It's just going to charge into a wall adapter. So your little cube that connects with your USB device goes into an AC plug or an AC outlet that should power this guy up. And it also has a pass through power. So even while this is charging, you can also run your device off of that so you don't have to worry about charging this up and then powering your device.
It can work safely as a pass through. It's pretty nice and compact. It's about the size of a deck of cards, so it should be able to fit in your pocket, in a small bag or purse, your backpack, or wherever you want to put it. As far as what it works with, you can obviously charge it into the wall, takes about four hours to charge from completely depleted to completely charged, or about five to 10 hours if you want to connect this to a compatible solar panel, something like the Goal Zero Nomad Plus, Nomad Seven Plus, those are sold separately here at etrailer.com if you want to pick those up.To check the charge, it'll just press on that USB input. It's a little button and then there should be some lights that come on the front. So this one is about 75% charged.
That's why we only have three lights there. On this one, it should be fully charged, so you'll see four lights. All in all, this is going to be a really nice handy thing to have with you. They do weigh about 6.8 ounces, so about half a pound or a little less than half a pound. As far as the size for each of these, it's about three and 11 sixteenths long, so just under three and a quarter, and then about two and seven sixteenths or just under two and a half inches wide and about seven eighths of an inch thick.Again, these are two different colors. They are two different part numbers and that green one is also going to be a separate part number, but you can find all three of those right here at etrailer.com to get you charged up and ready for your adventure. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if these are going to be the right ones for you. They do not come with any cords or any chargers, so you will have to use your accessories that you already have, but they should be nice and compact. USB cords are pretty ubiquitous these days, so I hope this video helps and thanks for watching. We'll see you next time.

Awesome product
Charges well and has plenty of power to charge my phone more than 2X as expected based on ratings. Easy to plug in and charge and check power level. Great size too!
