Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Blue Ox Replacement Tab Assemblies. Now this is going to slide into your base plate and being the fact that these are removable, sometimes these can go missing, and these are obviously crucial to be able to hook up your tow bar. (indistinct) removable arms on a base plate, and that's really nice because when you're not towing your vehicle, you can take these out and it kind of brings it back to a little bit cleaner look, or a little bit more OEM. But the downside is, since they are removable, these can get lost or just misplaced. Or in the case of our neighbor today, they bought a vehicle that was previously set up to be flat towed, and seems like the person they bought it from forgot to give them the arms. Well, not to worry, you can pick these up and they're gonna be an exact, same exact arm as you would get with the base plate when you buy it.
Now there are a few different configurations available, so you're gonna wanna make sure that it matches the one that came with your base plate. Now this one is the short back with the short front. You can also get other configurations that are gonna be a little bit longer, so make sure you're getting the one that matches your base plate. Your arms are going to be a crucial part of your whole flat toe setup because without this, you're not gonna be able to tow at all because there's no way to attach your tow bar. So you can simply order the replacement, pop it in place, get your toe bar set up, and you'll be ready to hit the road.
So whether you're missing just one of them or both of them, not to worry, the kit comes in a quantity of two so you'll have two new ones, and if you have that extra, well, you have a spare for later. And that was a look at the Blue Ox Replacement Tab Assemblies for Blue Ox Base Plates.
