Fit perfectly. Challenging to hold in place while threading the bolts - ended up lying on my back , pushing the bar up into position like a bench press, then holding it in place with my legs/ feet , and sliding the screws in with my fingers when i had the holes lined up. I imagine there are easier ways to do it. An hour after i started, i was done with the hitch and watching the video on the wire harness. Result looks great and maybe only losing a little clearance- like an inch below muffler on rav4.
First this is the 4th trailer hitch purchased from etrailer and is always a great experience however I have yet to receive one that did not have a damaged box. Second I am fond og the Curt trailer hitch they always make a quality product. As for this specific trailer hitch took longer to remove from the box then install it. 15minutes from start to finish.

When it comes to hitches, Curt is one of the best! Also just based on reviews I have personally read, this might be a new record for how fast you were able to install it. Do you do this type of work all the time?
Perfect fit for my 2024 RAV4 Prime. Seems sturdy and well-made. Installed it myself with the help of the car jack and a steep driveway. Didn't have to loosen the exhaust pipes or trim the bumper. The trunk kick sensor still works decently (it was already finicky before installing the hitch receiver anyway). As mentioned in other reviews, packaging must be improved. Got mine with a few minor scratches, easily fixed with a bit of spray paint.

Outstanding build quality. Shipping could use a little work. The corners of the mounting plates need to be protected better. They tear through the cardboard box too easy. The mounting bolts are inside the receiver tube and that is good. The strapping tape holds them in place, however, the receiver was sticking out of the box.
This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver will be supporting a Yakima Stage 2 Bike rack. This rack fits perfect on my 2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited.
I would purchase this item again.

Arrived on time! Fit like a glove! Didn’t have to lower the muffler or cut away plastic on the bumper! Install took an hour! 90% by myself with a bit of help to wedge it in place. Paid a bit more for quality and got it! Thanks Etrailer
The product I liked. You really need to invest in a better way to package it though. When it arrived the product was sticking out of both sides of the box it was packaged in. When I picked it up the product fell out of the box onto the porch. I realize the shippers handle the packages very rough but knowing that maybe a little more thought could go in to the packaging. Thx.
Easy installation and perfect fit. No exhaust assembly removal or adjustment necessary.
It’s a pretty decent hitch for the money. The box it came in was damaged and there was minimal protection for the hitch. Thankfully there were no missing parts or damage. There was a slight fitment issue and I had to cut some foam out of the way and mess with the body of the vehicle for the hitch to sit perfectly. It’s also worth noting that my hitch is angled about 1cm to the right which is putting the ball roughly 4cm to the right when towing. I’m not sure if that’s an issue with the hitch or my car. I haven’t put a square to it yet to check but I haven’t noticed any issues towing with it like that.
Great fit ,easy installation
Product was excellent and easy to install. But the packaging was subpar. Parts of the hitch were protruding through the box and it had a lot of extra tape on it like it was opened or damaged during shipping.

Installation was a little tricky and took a little longer than anticipated. But it’s installed and we are using it now.
Easy to install. I was done in 30 minutes and didn't have to drop the exhaust on my 2023 Rav4

I ordered the house brand trailer hitch first, unfortunately it came in a box that was damaged, and the attachment bolts were missing. I returned the hitch immediately and called etrailer to replace, unfortunately, they were out of stock. I ordered the Curt version, slightly more expensive, but still a reasonable price. It came quickly, the box was damaged but the hitch and hardware were fine. I followed the instructions included and was able to install it in about 1/2 hour by myself. I did this with my vehicle on the ground (no lift), a bit tricky, but used some paver bricks to hold the hitch up close to the mounting point so minimal lifting was required to initially install the bolts. The hitch looks good, it is minimally visible on Toyota Rav 4. Very happy with the price and installation. etrailer was responsive and helpful in resolving the first shipment issue, and followed up quickly with all my needs. They should improve their packaging, but overall I am very happy with the experience.

Arrived next day which is great, but the packaging is so poor that there are five holes in the box and the paint is scratched off in several spots already. Not sure if I will even take it out of the box
