Question:
Hi, Do you have a trailer hitch for a 2021 Rav4 Hybrid XLE? I could only find years 2023+ on the menu when trying to search. Thank you, Cody

Hi Cody!
We do have hitches available for your 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE. Prior to 2023, there wasn't really much of a difference between the Hybrid and the standard gas models, so the vast majority of the hitches were exactly the same between them. This is the case with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C77MJ and it is what I recommend.
It has the 2" receiver so you have more options for accessories, has plenty of capacity for those accessories as well as towing, and is American made. The price is also hard to beat at the moment. It's the one to get.
What are you going to be using the hitch for?

I like Lazer's answer, and was invited to reply, since I recently bought an EcoHitch Hidden trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III 2", installed it myself (solo), and have been using it on the back of my Toyota Rav 4 2024 PHEV since August 2025. I GOOGLED the diff between 2021 and 2024 RAV4 frames, and the AI answer was that they will be the same for a trailer hitch installation: Search: "RAV4 frame changes from 2021 to 2024 for trailer hitch fit?" Answer: There have been no significant changes to the Toyota RAV4's chassis or rear frame between the 2021 and 2024 model years that would affect trailer hitch fitment. The 2021-2024 models all belong to the same fifth generation (which started in 2019) and share the same core TNGA-K platform and frame structure. As a result, trailer hitches designed to fit a 2021 Toyota RAV4 will also fit a 2024 model (and vice-versa). I am using the hitch for a THULE T2 PRO X bike rack with a 2" hitch requirement. I have another THULE rack which is 1.25", and if I use that, I add a 2" to 1.25" adapter before attaching the 1.25" bike rack. The hitch installation video was great - and I followed its instructions ti install my hitch. It would certainly be easier to have someone else install it, or you it with an assistant, but using lift-blocks to hold it in place, it's only 38 lbs or so, a guy can install it solo. I think it's worth a shot for your 2021 RAV4.

Thanks for the info and recommedation. We would be using it for a bike rack and potentially for a very small trailer. I was originally looking at the EcoHitch as it being made with recycled materials aligns with my values. The sale price of the Curt version is quite a deal! Are there any sale or discounts on the EcoHitch version?
