Hi Lori, that’s a great question and I completely understand wanting to be sure before ordering, especially with the hybrid since it can feel like those models sometimes have different mounting points.
I was able to confirm that the Curt part # C77MJ is designed to fit all 2019 RAV4 models, including the Hybrid that is not the Prime, so you won’t run into issues with alignment or fitment. It uses the factory mounting locations on the frame just like the gas models, so it’s a true custom fit and installs without any modifications or surprises.
What are you planning to carry with your RAV4, bikes, a cargo basket, or a small trailer? If you are towing a small trailer, you may need wiring, just let me know!

I have a2025 RAV4 Hybrid. The hitch packaging is a badge of honor. All the hitches come that way and if it can survive shipping in a crappy carton, imagine how well it will perform for you! This hitch is some of the best money I ever spent.

The hitch will fit great with no modifications. I have mine on a 2022 RAV4 Limited Hybrid. One thing to keep in mind if you will be connecting a bike rack is the weight distribution. As you add weight to the rack, it will pull the hitch down and this will raise the headlight aim points. Our vehicles have very bright headlights and adding more weight over the back end will raise the issue of what appears to having your high beams on whenever you are connecting something to your hitch that has weight of 100 lbs. or more. The hitch is robust and works great. Shipping it in a cardboard box is the best option, otherwise you would be trying to figure out what to do with the steel shipping container and the increased cost .

Using bike rack for e-bikes. No need to wire at this point I think. Thanks for the information!
