Hey Herb, the hitch I recommend for your 2026 Lexus NX 450h Plus would be the Curt hitch part # C77MJ as it has great towing capacities, is the 2 inch hitch size, and it is mostly hidden since just the lower hitch opening hangs below the rear bumper. Will you be doing any towing?

@Herb Yes you will need wiring as well. For that the Tekonsha kit part # TK73VR would be what you'd want. This installs by plugging inline with vehicle taillights so there is no splicing required.

Was very easy to install with a helper to hole the cross bar level while getting bolts on the first side hand tight. Does make the "auto open" foot sensor stop working, unless you get a kit to relocate the sensor but that wasn't important to us. I only use it to haul bikes, so I didn't do a wiring harness.
