Trailer Hitch Options for 2025 Toyota RAV4 PHEV

Updated 02/02/2026 | Published 01/26/2026

Question:

I have a 2025 Toyota RAV4 PHEV. Are there any other options other than Oris removable one?

Hey Kurt, we have the Curt hitch part # C77MJ that's a confirmed fit for your 2025 Toyota RAV PHEV. I attached a review from a customer of ours with the exact same vehicle who said it fit and worked great.

The Oris you mentioned # TS66VR is really nice though! My wife has that on her RAV4 and it's really pretty cool. I put a dirt bike on a dirt bike carrier and used it for first time few months ago and it was rock solid.

That's good news. Thanks Jameson! I suggest you update your website because it only shows the Oris as being compatible.

When I load the page for the Curt, it pops up with a clear message saying, "This item does not fit your vehicle. (I tried to upload a screenshot, but I apparently can't include images in a post.)

@KurtB It does fit but it's not in our fitguide at this time. I will get that fixed.

Yes, the Curt fit fine on my RAV4 Hybrid. There's a tow hook that gets removed. I use it to hang bicycles but also am glad to pull a 5x8 lawn cart with it too.

@DougS thanks for the feedback! What bike rack do you have?

The Curt hitch went on my 2023 Rav4 hybrid in about 30 minutes. An extra set of hands is helpful for positioning.

@ScottG Great feeddback! Yeah an extra set of hands goes a long way as the hitches are generally heavier and more awkward than you'd think.

I installed it just before winter and intend to use it to hang bikes this coming spring and summer. The directions are fine. One thing they should mention is that if you have a half inch drive torque wrench, you will never find a small enough half inch drive crows foot to fit the bolt. I had to buy a 3/8 inch drive torque wrench, then found the right crows foot. I installed this without help, and it was a job but not unreasonably tough. I really like the quality of this thing.
