Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Demco Square Inner Tube eZ Latch Gooseneck coupler. Now, this coupler is designed for gooseneck trailers, which are often used for hauling heavier loads like livestock, equipment, or even large recreational vehicles. With a 30,000 pound gross trailer weight rating, this coupler is built to handle those heavy loads. This is going to be ideal for larger trailers that need to tow more substantial loads such as construction equipment or your large livestock trailers. Now, this coupler is going to fit your 2 5/16 inch hitch ball, and this is obviously the standard size ball for larger towing setups.

And giving you a closeup here, this does feature Demco's eZ latch, which is a convenient system that's going to let you easily secure this coupler to your ball without needing to manually latch it every time. This feature is gonna make it much simpler to hook up or disconnect your trailer, especially if you do it frequently or in less than ideal condition. So I wanna give you a demonstration of this. Obviously, I don't have this hooked up to a trailer, so I'm just gonna lay this on its back here on my table and I, again, have my 2 5/16 inch ball. Notice that I have the latch closed.

And so all you need to do is drop your coupler onto the ball and then it's going to automatically latch just like that. That's why we have the designation of eZ Latch. And then when you're ready to uncouple, you're just gonna lift that up and then that's going to let you disconnect from your ball. So very easy to connect. You're not gonna be struggling to get that connection that you're looking for.

So this eZ latch system will really help improve safety by reducing the chances of a poor connection or accidental uncoupling while towing. So let me give you some measurements here just so you can be confident this is going to work for you. Taking a look at the outer width first, hopefully you can see that there. Lemme line this up here. We are sitting right at four inches across. And then looking at the overall, I guess you could call it height from bottom to top, we are sitting pretty close to about 28.5 inches or so, So from the bottom to the top, from the top of the surface that I'm at here. And then we do have four adjustment pinholes as you can hopefully see right there. And they are spaced on center. Lemme see if I can show that for you. On center, right at 2 3/4 inches apart on those holes. And so you're gonna get a total adjustment of 8 1/4 inches. The diameter of those pin holes is 13/16 of an inch. So Demco is known for manufacturing heavy duty towing equipment and this is no exception to that, this eZ latch coupler's no exception to that. This is built from high quality materials. It is designed to stand up to the stresses of heavy towing. And this does feature a black powder-coat finish that's going to help resist rust and corrosion.
