You've had close calls with your gooseneck trailer long enough. The 9" offset on this coupler gives you more clearance when you turn. It's perfect for short beds, full-width front trailers, or any setup that runs tight near the cab.
If you've got a short bed truck or a gooseneck trailer that cuts in too tight, you know how close things can get in a turn. The 9" offset on this coupler moves the hitch point forward to give your trailer more breathing room up front, helping you clear the cab when backing up or cornering sharp.
With some couplers, you're never quite sure if they're secure. This Demco eZ-Latch coupler fixes that. Just drop it onto the ball and it latches itself. There are no extra steps involved, and you won't have to hang over the side of your truck straining to get a pin in. Once it's connected, you know it's going to stay put. And if you're leaving your trailer hooked up somewhere, the InfiniteRule lock (IR66FR - sold separately) keeps the latch from being opened so no one can pull up and take it.
Towing capacity is limited by the lowest rated component in your setup.
If you have a recessed gooseneck ball, there must be at least a 12" x 12" opening in your bed for this coupler to work. In addition, the top of the hitch ball cannot be more than 2" from the top of the bed.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our shocker hitch. It's an easy latch gooseneck coupler with the gooseneck stem included and the Demco extension. It's got a 2-5/16-inch coupler head here for a 2-5/16-inch ball, and obviously a four-inch, or 100-millimeter square stem with adjustment holes included. Folks, this couplers rated an impressive 30,000 pounds towing capacity and 6,000 pounds tongue weight, so it's built for heavy duty gooseneck hauling.
It has a nice nine-inch offset stem, as I mentioned, so potentially better for short trucks maybe where you want to get it back away from the cab a little farther. It's gonna install in minutes. You simply pull out your old inner tube assembly, put this one up in place, and just like that, you're ready to go. As you can see, it's super thick metal down here. The gussets and everything are nice, computer welded and everything for precision and durability.
A nice black powder coat finish. And of course, you got the easy latch coupler system. If you've never used this, it's really, really simple. The only time you ever have to move this lever is to pull it up when it's time to uncouple, so that you pull it up and you take it off the ball. When you're putting this on the ball, you don't have to do nothing.
Keep it like this. You simply lower this down. The weight of everything here will automatically couple itself just like that whenever you couple it. So it's super, super nice and easy, thus the name Easy Latch. So matte black powder coat finish as I mentioned.
You got four different holes here. As far as adjustments, those are about 2-3/4 inches apart on center. This again, will extend the gooseneck coupler nine inches forward. So a great option, again, for short bed trucks. Folks, it doesn't get easier in this as far as installation. A great product by Shocker Hitch. This again is the Easy Latch gooseneck stem, and Demco extension coupler. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
